Loot Boxes & Skin purchases should be classed as gambling according to a charity.

According to Sky News tv channel the charity does not want to ban them they just want children to be able to decide if they should spend their money on it.

Bit strange that adults have to have a £2 limit as they cannot be allowed to choose but children are ok to spend their money on loot boxes if they choose to.

The Loot Boxes thing has been covered here more than streamers, and yes it is an unwitting form of gambling and sly monetization by greedy software companies, who aren't content charging £45 for a game anymore

So if every slot provider gave every spin a minimum of 1pence per spin it wouldn't be classed as gambling as there is a guaranteed reward.
