Hello from France.

Been a lot of new members joining recently who have problems at casinos...
Which casino do you have a problem with?

You're right, this forum is the "busiest" I've ever visited and it's also your best place to get a casino problem sorted!
Welcome and enjoy!

Sorry to say that is one of the Rival casinos who have gone AWOL... :(
They opened specifically targeting the French market in September 2010, but had disappeared by the end of 2011.

Payments SHOULD still be made by Rival - but you wont be able to contact them direct as they wont talk to players or affiliates.
They still owe me some commission payments from April...!

I think all you can do now is wait... and pray.

{Edit to add} You MIGHT be able to Pitch-A-Bitch as they aren't specifically named on CasinoMeister's "No Mans Land" listing. But this is only because that list of white label Rivals is not up-to-date doesn't include of many of the new ones who opened in the last 18 months or so.
Worst you could do is PM Maxd and ask him...

Hello.
Just a word to say I was finally paid, after 17 days.
I think it is far too much.
It's a pity, I dont see Rival casinos in accredited casinos.
They have some games I like.
I'm very glad to hear you got paid!

I don't see any Rival casinos getting Accredited here in the near future - but that doesn't mean they are ALL bad IMHO.
It's true that quite a few went "off the rails" in the last year or so (including the one you were using), but there are still some pretty decent ones - you just need to be careful which you chose and do a bit of homework before you sign-up.

Best of luck for the future!

This is the BIG problem with Rival as a whole. There is no way for a player awaiting payment to find out what is happening other than by keeping their ear close to the rumour mill. More shocking is that despite all the troubles over the last couple of years with their white labels, forcing Rival to tighten procedures ( or "spin" the impression that they have), it happened AGAIN just last month.

How can ANY Rival casino be trusted, even the best one month can be next month's AWOL casino.

HOW did Rival manage to get it so wrong AGAIN that they granted a license to a casino that barely lasted 15 months, and then "did a runner" rather than close down in an orderly manner.

It is this tendency for Rival casinos to "do a runner" overnight, rather than close down in a controlled manner when it becomes unprofitable for them to continue, that tars ALL Rival casinos with the reputation of being run by underfunded amateurs.

Casinos close all the time, but outside of Rival white labels, "doing a runner" is rare, and players either get their closing balance paid out, or are transferred to another group (usually Casino Rewards in the case of MGS).

Whilst Rival are stating that they will guarantee players' monies in these situations, what they SHOULD be doing is making sure it doesn't come to that in the first place, rather than repeatedly clearing up the mess when it happens, and keeping the players in the dark for however long it takes to pay them.

It is this poor vetting and control that caused ALL Rival white labels to end up being tossed in the pit.

An experienced affiliate may be able to rank the white labels in terms of risk, but the player has no chance. Even YOU didn't see this coming when you decided they were OK to promote, they went AWOL owing you commission.
