Some of the pictures I have seen look amazing. From old historical towns to seaside bays and dense forests, definitely a country I want to see.

My Dad spent some time there in the early 70s and said it was one of the most beautiful countries he visited, along with Yugoslavia at the time.

Talking off topic, who ever has a chance to visit Croatia, do it. Depending on your taste, you'll find sth. Islands in the south are especially beautiful... Hvar, Brac, Mljet and the the best of them all - Vis.
