So you are saying it doesn't matter what reels you hold. The game will still pay the same?

I've heard people say that before.
I question it myself with those games as well, but if I had to make a decision I would say what reels you hold do matter.

Actually Goblin's Cave has more in common with a Video Poker game than a slots game. It's not a fixed level RTP. There's an RTP range based on the skill of the player. By applying the optimum strategy you can play at the highest possible RTP, though as far as I'm aware that's still less than 100%.
