I get quite a few requests from other webmasters who ask for link exchanges, which is a pretty silly request by itself. My philosophy is, if you like a site, link to it. Don't force the other guy to link to you first.
Anyway, I received two such requests yesterday, both of which I found unusually amusing. Names and domains have been changed to protect the unfortunate. The parts in bold are those which I enjoyed most:
But the best request I have ever received was this one:
The Babelfish certainly got its exercise yesterday.
And now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go play an online poking game.

We at [website].com are in the process of establishing link partnerships with quality websites pertaining to online poker resources. Kindly check out our site and let me know if we could be listed at your links page.
