So, following on from the affiliates stuff and the non-Gamstop posts I thought I would do a bit of digging on Conquestador.

I'll be honest, had them labelled from the first minute as a rogue operation given the previous details on here and other conversations around them. However, on contacting them they provided me with an unsurpassed breakdown of their operations, their strategy, goals and commitment to RG. It was something I have not seen before, a casino reaching out and taking the time to explain their business ethics and commitment to a safe environment. Was very impressed. They have had genuine issues with Gamstop testing, system based but are closely linking with new players to the site and asking for details that can help identify problem gamblers etc. I spoke to one of their senior management as well, really nice guy, honest and down to earth. Saying they are looking at expanding their provider list in the coming months and really putting their site out there offering good and fair bonuses to players and the ability to limit activity for a long period which cannot be changed for a period of between 6 months and a year which I feel is the right way to go for all casinos(talking deposit/play limits).

So, open admission, was wrong about these guys and hopefully in time they can apply to be accredited here.

I slag casinos off enough so thought it was time to post a positive story about one!

Thanks for creating this thread. It seems only fair to the casino to provide this balanced view.

To add my own experiences:

They wouldn’t even let me make my first deposit until I had fully verified my account with crystal clear ID, email verification and also address ID (screenshots of e-bill not accepted, had to be PDF).

Stringent checks almost chased me away.

I can't say I'm overly impressed with them, having just received this email.....

How strange?
Have you had time to find out what the issue is?

Personally I think that they really need to get their RG issue sorted as a priority if they're going to be UK facing. I am being deliberately vague there for obvious reasons.

I also disagree here.

To send emails such as

and then claim it’s nothing to do with verification but is to do with AML is pure bullshit.

They know they did not automatically verify me with two independent electronic sources as per UKGC requirements, yet claim that the misleading wording of this email is “feedback which will taken on board”

They let me play without adequate verification and the whole “difficulties integrating GamStop” is a total farce.

Everyone else can and has done it, if you can’t get it done then don’t open for services.

What they tell you on a call or email is one thing, what they proactively do is a new ball game.

I'm not that bothered, since reading everything about them on here.

If they've blocked the account, they know the reason.
So why can't they just say in the email, rather than "Accounts can be blocked for a variety of reasons.", and then I might have done something about it

But I'm afraid they're just not worth chasing after.

Mate, I understand your issues but I'm putting this thread up after numerous discussions with them. Only other casino that wanted to actively engage was Videoslots, every other casino declined to comment on their RG stuff. Most casinos see this as unimportant in the grand scheme of things but Conquestador proactively reached out. That's all I'm posting here, the more that reach out the better.

Whilst I don’t argue against you, one thing I will say is, launching in the UK market without GamStop being active IS NOT being responsible, end of.
