Boomtown Casino New Orleans

I'm doing a 3 week roadtrip through the south in the U.S in october, checking out some country concerts, enjoying cheap food and of course i was thinking about checking out a casino... I came across Boomtown New Orleans...

Any experiences? Is it worth it? 1400 slots sound interesting to me

Haven't been to the Boomtown in New Orleans but the one in Shreveport is OK. Once you hit New Orleans you can just about pick a town and find a casino anywhere but Texas.

I really like the casino at Delta Downs Racetrack. I believe it is owned by Boyd Gaming. No table games but lots of new and interesting slots.

Come on up to Shreveport. You can take your pick there. LOL!

Where are you from in Texas? I will visit Texas too, my favorite state in the US
