So apparently I logged into my account today and got this message.

BOVADA HAS SUSPENDED TRANSFERS FROM RESIDENTS OF THE FOLLOWING STATES: MARYLAND; WASHINGTON; NEW YORK; UTAH.

IF YOU ARE A BOVADA CUSTOMER FROM ONE OF THE ABOVE STATES, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE YOUR MYPAYLINQ ACCOUNT TO TRANSFER. PLEASE CONTACT SUPPORT AT BOVADA FOR FURTHER INFORMATION

So does that mean there trying to weed out the states that the feds are using or ? Just something I noted

Isn't online gambling illegal in those states (specified in state law)? I know it is in Washington state.

It's more than just those four.

Looks like a bigger picture is about to emerge. I have just seen another issue where a player had an 8 day delay between their withdrawal being approved at a different operator, and it arriving in their Mypaylinq account.

Perhaps players should keep their Mypaylinq account as empty as possible until this bigger picture emerges.

I have seen odd issues like this emerge before in the forums, and although players have been told not to worry over what are billed as "minor technical issues", what follows has often been less than minor, and is often the discovery that the "feds" have broken part of the chain through a seizure.

It DOES seem odd that transfers from an operator to an eWallet have been suspended, but in only 4 states. Supposedly, such transfers stay outside the US, and it is the final leg, eWallet to bank, that is at risk. Either there has been an attempt to attempt on the ewallet itself by the authorities that is specific to these states, or as mentioned above, it is about getting jittery after seeing that nearly all previous busts have come via undercover players gathering intelligence in one or more of these four states.

Probably it is not just about playing safe and banning all 11 (12?) states as Microgaming did, but narrowing the ban to those states that actively, and vigorously, pursue them.

What follows could well be Bovada banning players from these states altogether.

US players from these states have an opportunity to get their money clear before the s*** hits the fan, but it may only be a brief one.

There really isn't a link as much, as you have to login to your MyPaylinQ account. I would post a link, but I'm pretty sure there not posting something like that out the outside of there my account area.

This is a Mypaylinq decision, not Bovada. I assumed this was seen logging in to a Bovada account. If it is Mypaylinq making the decision, there is every chance that they will pull out altogether from those states, which could be annoying for players there with money stuck in Mypaylinq, or in operator accounts only offering withdrawal to Mypaylinq.

Very Late Payout!

I am still waiting for payout from Bovada. They awarded me a $50 bonus for my "patience" but I have none left. Isn't winning with bonus money that doesn't pay out the same as playing with Fun Money?
