Has anyone else noticed any of the bigger name Casinos going downhill lately, whether becoming meaner with bonuses or just not treating their players as well as they used to? For instance, rewarding their Loyalty? I sure have and I've got to the point that I find their bonuses, even the rtp of their games has got so bad, I've given up and switched to a smaller but up and coming brand, Red Queen Casino.
Ok, it might just be bad luck with the bigger brands;I accept that but they just don't seem to care about their players as much now, and the bonuses have definitely got worse. Since I joined Red Queen, I got their £10 NDB, New player deposit bonuses and I regularly receive Free Spins with no wagering. I don't know any of the bigger Brands that value their players that much. The other advantages are that I find the software they use offers different games, instead of the same old boring slots you get with the bigger names. And the CS at Red Queen is actually the best I've encountered. I look forward to them being accredited on here because they certainly should be. Just sharing my opinion :)

Most defiantly agree there,

I have terrible luck on the bigger brands, Loyalty is also gone downhill, Its theses smaller sites that actually look after you, Red queen is a decent site, Does not get mentioned much, I will have to have a look at my account there see what's on offer,

I started a similar thread regarding loyalty (particular low rollers) a few months back.

IIRC experienced members input and self discovered information since lead to one of the main reasons being the cost and also the amount of competition which is around nowadays compared to a few month/years back when casinos could 'afford' to be more generous.

I will always stand by my opinion that I feel a NDB or FS from time to time (once a month for regular depositors???) goes a long, long way to making that player feel valued and appreciated and carries little risk to the casino IF there is an attached WR.

On the other hand I also appreciate that casinos are in no way obligated to provide such 'services' which we all agree to upon registration.

Edit: Just found thread I referred to above, not as closely releated as I first thought to OP maybe but worth a read as it is along those lines.

I'm always happy to try out a casino so thought I would have a little looksy here, but my computers safety police kicked in for whatever reason!

In over 17 years of online gaming i have seen and played at many "rising stars". The procedure was to the dot always the same!!!

1. THE BEGINNINGS
- Generous as an active player base is needed.
- Plenty of comps and extra bonuses
- Prompt payments, 24/7/365 - i remember never waiting more than 12 hours for my dosh, and this was back in the early 2000'
- Even when i was winning and miles ahead at a casino they would offer me bonuses just to lure me to spend it all back

2. THE COOL-OFF PERIOD
- Casino has achieved a good player base and popularity
- Once established the generosity stops rising
- Slowly flattening of bonuses and comps
- Pending periods, etc etc
- Step-by-step tactics to remove player friendly features

3. THE "I AM BIG NOW" PERIOD
- Casino has become a pretty big player in the market
- Player support is reduced to a minimum (unless you are a SUPER VIP with private host)
- Extra bonuses and comps very hard to get, even with big losses over a prolonged period
- No payments on weekends, extended pending periods etc etc.
- Players complain but are certainly not heard as it does not matter if they lose a bunch of players, they got 10' of thousands more.

4. THE END
- Casino is taken over by another brand
- Go back to 1. or it get's even worse if the new owner is already at 2. or 3.

Now i go and hide under my table to weather the storm, but i will stand by my words, have seen it happening countless times over the years.

I agree with Harry here but there are exceptions of course. At the beginning casinos are welcoming EVERY player no matter low- or high roller just to get players and attention. However when they have a healthy amount of regular punters they start declining starting with the low-rollers.

My treatment at Gala Casino was exceptional although they belong to the big guns. Regular reload bonuses (up to 100%), free spins, nice chats with my VIP-host Darren and a €200 free chip on my birthday (x1 WR) to name just a few perks they gave me. Yes you have to play a lot to come to these stages on their VIP ladder but I can really recommend them.

In general I think especially if I compare the bigger brands that are accredited here with the smaller operations the OP is pretty much spot on here.
