As a taxpayer, this story (which is getting wide circulation internationally) really pisses me off!
The idea that banks have apparently learned little from bringing the global economy to the edge of the precipice, and are back doing pretty much the same thing strengthens the argument for tough regulation imo.
Trying to take a positive view, I guess it does indicate that things are getting a little better, and that these banks can now be made to repay the government aid they received in such vast quantities.
