BETFAIR LAUNCHES ONLINE VERSION OF ASIAN POKER TOUR
Prizes include a holiday at one of the most spectacular hotels on the planet
Betfair Poker is giving players who havent made it to Singapore for the live Asian Poker Tour championship (see previous InfoPowa reports), the opportunity to take part in a unique online version of the tournament.
A company spokesman has anounced that Betfair Poker will add $100 000 in Asian themed prizes that include a five night all expenses paid holiday at the luxurious Burj Al Arab in Dubai, the worlds only seven star hotel, and trips to Hong Kong and Bali. Players will also win Sony and Samsung electrical goods, a years supply of Asian beer and BAPT merchandise.
We want all of our players to feel part of the Betfair Asian Poker Tour whether they are in Singapore or not, said Head of Poker Ben Fried.
The online series of events begins with a $5 + $0.50 tournament on Monday 13th November, and will culminate with a $100 + $9 Main Event on Saturday 18th November.
Daily satellites to the Main Event have already started on Betfair Poker at 20:00 (GMT) and 21:30 (GMT), with buy-ins of $5 + $0.50 and $10 + $1 respectively.
Unfortunately, Betfair excludes US players.....
