I hit a pretty big jackpot recently on a site which I'd rather not say at this time. They claim that there was a max bet rule of $5 which I went over a couple of times ..I haven't heard any sites that do this only the 10 dollar rule. I had checked the terms carefully and found no such info..if it was there..I didn't see it. I emailed them regarding this and received no reply. After my account was flushed, I went back into the cashier and all promos were removed...seems suspect as I only had claimed a bonus twice. I couldn't find bet rules as there were no more bonuses in my account.

Just wondering if any recourse will be possible or if anyone has had a similar experience.

Hello,

I'd say your situation depends entirely on the Terms applicable at the time of play. A $5 Max Bet rule in itself is not that unusual, and almost all casinos have a Max Bet rule in place, but if you have proof that there was no such Term then -- depending on the casino, their jurisdiction, etc -- you may well have a case worth pursuing.

Obviously you are well familiar with the Player Arbitration (PAB) process here at Casinomeister, and you're free as always to use that if you think we can help. As ever do make sure you read and comply with the Player Arbitration Policies and Procedures .

Like Max said, the crucial thing is the T&Cs of the bonus you took.
As you say, less than $10 is VERY unusual for US facing casinos - but not totally unheard of.
If you'd like me to have a look for you, please PM me the name of the casino. I won't post it on the forum.
It may be a casino I am familiar with, but even if not, I will still see what I can find.

Thanks ..PM sent
How big a % was the bonus you claimed?
If it was over 100%, I'm afraid you are out of luck.

This is clearly stated in the General T&Cs:
When playing with any bonus offer or credit your wagers must be $10 or less. Your wagers must be $5 or less if the bonus claimed is greater than 100% of your deposit value, or if redeemed prior to your first purchase. Customer services cannot override this restriction.
