Casinomeister’s Verdict

Sidepot launched at the beginning of 2025, and for now, its biggest highlight is the size of the game library. It has over 1,500 titles, which is already ahead of many sweepstakes casinos, especially newer ones. The collection is slot-focused, but there’s enough variety with table games, instant win games, and Sidepot Originals to keep things interesting. Banking is another strong point, with more payment options than you’d typically see, covering debit card, credit card, bank transfer, and crypto.

There are a couple of areas where Sidepot doesn’t quite keep up. The lack of live dealer games was one, especially now that so many competitors offer them. Customer support was also a little disappointing as there isn’t a live chat. Email responses were fast when we got in touch, but they don’t replace live chat support.

We’ve tested countless sweepstakes casinos in the US, so it’s clear where Sidepot fits in. It gets a lot right, particularly in terms of game variety and banking, but there are still a couple of weak spots. In this Sidepot review, we’ve broken everything down so you can decide if it’s the right fit for you.

Sidepot Casino overview

Sidepot was launched at the start of 2025 by the same company behind the popular social sportsbook Fliff. There are over 1,500 titles available on the site, which is a decent number for a sweepstakes casino. The library leans heavily towards slots, but you can explore a selection of speciality games and table games.

You can access Sidepot through its website using any browser on a desktop or phone. There isn’t a dedicated app for mobile gaming, but this is uncommon to find in sweepstakes gaming.

New players get a no-deposit bonus of 10,000 GC and 1 SC added to their account as soon as they sign up, as well as a special offer on their first purchase, where they get 50,000 GC and 25 free SC for $9.99. There’s also a daily wheel spin, where you can get from 10,000 GC to 40,000 GC or 2 to 50 SC.

After that, there are a few other promotions like daily special deals on packages, missions, weekly tournaments, and weekly giveaways. You can also get 4 free SC by sending a letter to Sidepot’s registered address.

The loyalty program is called the Sidepot Players Club, where you can unlock exclusive rewards as you climb the levels. There are a few promotions missing, like social media giveaways and referral bonuses, which are common at other sweeps casinos.

How Does Sidepot Work?

Sidepot doesn’t work like a traditional online casino. You’re not depositing real money, wagering it on games, and cashing out winnings. Instead, everything works through two types of virtual currency: Gold Coins and Sweeps.

Gold Coins (GC) are used for standard play. They’re basically there for fun and to explore the games, with no value outside the platform. You can pick these up through bonuses or by buying packages.

Sweeps Coins (SC), on the other hand, can’t be purchased. They’re only ever earned as a free bonus, whether that’s through promotions or an added perk when you purchase GC. Any winnings from Sweeps Coins can be redeemed for actual prizes after you’ve met the minimum redemption requirement of 100 SC.

Since there’s no direct real-money wagering, Sidepot falls under sweepstakes regulations rather than traditional gambling laws. That’s why it’s available across most of the US, including states where real-money online casinos aren’t allowed.

Sidepot Games

Sidepot has a gaming library with over 1,500 titles from 29 providers, which is a solid collection when compared to other sweepstakes casinos. The collection consists mostly of slots, but there are a handful of RNG table games and specialty games.

Looking at the slots, there are all types of themes and features covered. To give you an idea, there are dedicated categories for Megaways, Hold & Wins, and Buy Feature games, plus themed collections like Gods and Legends. We tried out a variety of slots, and the common thread between them was how straightforward and smooth they felt to play. When you click on each title, you can pick whether to play in GC or SC mode beforehand.

A small selection of table games covers the classics, with a couple of blackjack, roulette, and poker titles. But the other main type of games besides slots are the instant-win options, including crash games, keno, and plinko. Plus, there are Sidepot’s Original games that include fun titles like Chart Betting, Dice, When Moon Bro, and Hilo, to name a few.

The biggest gap here is the lack of live dealer tables, which are increasingly becoming a staple at most sweepstakes sites. However, Sidepot does show live dealer games as “coming soon” on the platform. In fact, many titles are labelled with this sticker, so it appears that a number of titles will be added to the platform in the near future.

Sidepot Software Providers

Sidepot collaborates with 29 providers. There is a combination of well-known sweepstakes providers with a few lesser-known names. In the games lobby, you can find a section where you can filter by provider, making it easy to explore each one’s catalogue.

Here’s a full list of the providers:

Sidepot Casino Banking Options

You don’t need to spend anything to play games at Sidepot. As a sweepstakes casino, it hands out Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins through ongoing promotions, which is enough to keep you playing without topping up. It is possible to make a purchase if you decide that’s what you want, and each GC package comes with a bonus of SC.

Right now, you can make a purchase with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Instant Bank Transfer, and Cryptocurrency. So, there’s a solid mix of payment methods, depending on how you prefer to pay. Compared to many sweepstakes casinos, like Wandando or Playtana, which tend to stick to just a few options, the range here is wider.

These are the standard Gold Coin packages that are offered:

  • $4.99 – 10,000 GC and 5 free SC
  • $9.99 – 20,000 GC and 10 free SC
  • $19.99 – 40,000 GC and 20 free SC
  • $49.99 – 100,000 GC and 50 free SC
  • $99.99 – 200,000 GC and 100 free SC
  • $299.99 – 600,000 GC and 300 free SC
  • $499.99 – 1,000,000 GC and 500 free SC
  • $999.99 – 2,000,000 GC and 1,000 free SC

For redemptions, a minimum of 100 SC won through gameplay is required. Only cash prizes are offered through debit card and bank transfer; there aren’t any gift card redemptions. During our testing, using a debit card was the faster of the two options, taking 2 days to be processed, whereas bank transfers took 4 days.

Is Sidepot Safe?

From our experience, there weren’t any red flags in how Sidepot operates. It has been around since January 2025, so it’s had a bit of time to establish itself in the industry. Sidepot is also owned by the same company behind Fliff, a well-known social sportsbook, which lends it a bit more credibility than a totally newly launched company would.

On top of this, the games come from recognized studios and run on certified RNGs. Well-known studios don’t tend to work with unreliable platforms, and the same goes for payment providers like Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

The privacy policy states that appropriate security measures are in place to protect player information, including industry-standard encryption techniques. We checked this out ourselves and found the site uses 256-bit encryption. You must complete the KYC process (identity verification) before you can purchase Gold Coins or even access certain parts of the platform, like promotions. Our documents were checked and approved within a day.

Sidepot also has a “Responsible Gameplay Policy” page with guidance on safe play and information on their control tools. You can set limits on purchases and play, and there are options for cooling off and self-exclusion. It’s not something every sweepstakes casino offers, so having it here is a big plus.

Legal Status of Sidepot

Sidepot is a sweepstakes casino, rather than a standard gambling platform. You’re not playing with real money or placing bets, so it doesn’t require a traditional gaming licence. Instead, it follows US sweepstakes laws to be legal. To use the site, you’ll need to be at least 18 and in an eligible location.

Although it’s available in many states, the platform is inaccessible in several others. If you’re located in any of the following states, you won’t be able to sign up:

  • Alabama
  • Arizona
  • California
  • Connecticut
  • Delaware
  • Idaho
  • Kentucky
  • Louisiana
  • Maryland
  • Michigan
  • Mississippi
  • Montana
  • New Jersey
  • New York
  • Nevada
  • Tennessee
  • Utah
  • Washington
  • West Virginia

Sidepot Casino Customer Support

Customer support was the area that let us down. Technically, there is a live chat on the platform, but it doesn’t work. You ask to be transferred to an agent and send a message, but the response says you’ll be contacted by email instead. After this, you can continue the conversation thread through email.

At least you don’t have to leave the platform to contact support, but at the same time, we’d prefer to message an actual agent in real time. Most sweepstakes casinos offer live chat support, so this is a bit behind. There isn’t a phone number to speak directly to someone, either.

The positive side is that the email response is among the fastest we’ve seen. It took only 10 minutes for an agent to reply to our message, which is much faster than the usual wait times at other sites. So, as far as email support goes, it’s actually very reliable.

There is an FAQ section, but it just covers basic questions, and isn’t a full help centre. So, most of the time, it is necessary to get in touch with customer support to solve any issues, and email just feels a bit more awkward than live chat.

Sidepot Casino Review Summary

The biggest Sidepot’s strength is the size of the library. It has over 1,500 games, which is a good number compared to competitors, and the inclusion of Sidepot Originals adds a bit of personality. At the same time, there’s no live dealer section yet, so we can’t say it’s one of the more well-rounded libraries that we’ve seen.

Banking is another area where it does well, offering a wider range of payment methods than most sweepstakes casinos. Where it falls short is customer support, as there isn’t a proper live chat, even if email responses were impressively fast.

If you’ve tried Sidepot yourself, we’d love to hear your feedback. Feel free to share your experience in our forums, and read what other real players have to say, too.
