How Does PlayFame Work? 

PlayFame is a sweepstakes casino, not a traditional real money casino. All the games can be played for free and you can’t deposit or withdraw cash in the same way you can at traditional casinos. Instead, you can play games using two types of virtual currency:

It’s reassuring to know that there is a transparent company with a wealth of experience behind the casino, which is not always the case in the sweepstakes industry. 

You’ll be able to sign up and start playing with just basic info, but PlayFame requires full KYC verification before you can redeem prizes — which they are legally required to do.

PlayFame customer support only really becomes truly effective after you have purchased some Gold Coins, which unlocks live chat support. This is a standard policy across all B2Services casinos, and we can’t say we’re fans of that.

In our opinion, this policy goes against the principle of casual social gaming by encouraging people to spend money. Until live chat is unlocked, you can send PlayFame a message via the ticket form and they will email you a response. When we tested this out, it took around 12 hours to get a response on average. 

Everything becomes much easier with live chat, but it leaves a bad taste in the mouth to have to pay for customer support. 

On a brighter note, we were impressed with both the Help Center and the Player Safety sections, both of which have lots of useful information. We recommend checking them out before getting in touch with agents directly, as they might offer a faster way to resolve your issue.
