Casinomeister’s Verdict
There’s a lot going on with Chino casino, from the quirky Originals games to the steady stream of notifications advertising purchase promos. We were also left with good impressions about the customer support and the VIP Program, which we actually managed to make some progress in during our review period. This doesn’t feel like a sweeps casino that has been thrown together without a lot of care.
That said, Chino casino does have its flaws. The welcome package (both no deposit bonus and first purchase offer) is definitely underwhelming compared with competitors. It’s also missing live table games, which is surprising given the rest of the game menu.

Chino Casino Overview
Chino Casino is run by InspireCore Technologies, the same Ontario-based company that owns QuickMilly and Jumbo88.
We counted more than 1,250 games at Chino, including an eclectic mix of slots, scratch cards, table games, arcade games, and certain types of live games. The in-house Originals games use provably fair technology, which we always appreciate.
Claiming a welcome bonus at Chino is more difficult than we’re used to. Most sweepstakes casinos simply give you a supply of GC and SC in exchange for creating an account, so you can start playing within seconds.
Chino withholds its no deposit bonus of 1,000 GC and 1 free SC until you have completed KYC, which is done through Veriff and took us nearly 30 minutes to complete. It’s not the end of the world, and ultimately you’ll need to complete KYC anyway if you want to redeem SC prizes later, but it is an extra barrier for new players who just want to jump straight into games.
There is a solid lineup of ongoing promotions too, which keeps things interesting. The refer-a-friend promo gets you 25 SC once your friend spends at least $50. There are regular multi-day slot tournaments with SC prizes for the winners, and ongoing Raffles which hand out free SC. You get Raffle tickets automatically as you play games with SC.
There isn’t a standard daily login bonus, which is a downside.
The Challenges are fun and achievable (like playing 1 SC on a certain game) and get updated regularly. However, it’s a little disappointing that they all hand out Loyalty Points rather than GC or SC directly.
On the bright side, the VIP Program is one of the more detailed we’ve seen. There are seven tiers in total, each one with five sub-tiers that come with free spins or other level-up bonuses as you progress. We made it through the first couple of sub-tiers during our 14-day review period and picked up some free spins for our trouble.
At the top end, the Vault gets you access to incredible high-roller rewards, like Super Bowl tickets, Birkin handbags, and even a flight on a private plane. As you might imagine, these rewards are very much out of reach for 99% of players.
How Does Chino Casino Work?
Chino is a sweepstakes casino that uses the standard Gold Coins/Sweepstakes Coins model. It doesn’t offer real money gambling and you can’t deposit or withdraw cash into your account.
If you just want to play for fun, you should use Gold Coins. GC can’t be redeemed for prizes and exists only for playing games. You can buy more if you run out of your free supply.
Sweepstakes Coins are the promotional currency, which you should use if you want the chance to redeem prizes. In accordance with sweepstakes laws, you can’t buy SC or pay directly to play games, only receive it as a free promotional bonus. After your SC has been used at least once in gameplay, it can be redeemed as a cash prize.
Chino Casino Games
Notwithstanding a couple of notable absences, we were impressed with the game lineup at Chino. We counted more than 1,250 in total. This is more than enough depth for the majority of players, but it is significantly less than the largest sweeps casinos out there.
The strength of Chino’s game menu lies in its variety. There are well over a thousand slots of all shapes and sizes, plus virtual table games and video poker, arcade games, scratch cards and even a small selection of live games.
We liked how the lineup is set up, with the slots divided up into different categories like “Cascading & Tumble,” “Bonus Buy,” and “Fantasy.” You can also click the little red heart on any game to save it to your personal Favorites section.
The games consistently ran perfectly for us, with no lag or loading issues whether we used a laptop or mobile.
Chino’s lineup of Originals was a highlight. These games all operate using provably fair technology, which means you can personally verify that each round or spin was fair and random. It gives the site extra credibility.
In addition to the usual Originals games like Crash, Mines, and Plinko, we were pleasantly surprised to find more skill-based games than usual, like Solitaire and Wordly (which is a not-very-subtle remake of the popular word game Wordle). These types of games are rare at sweepstakes casinos, and it makes the experience at Chino feel unique.
We were happy to find a Live Casino section, but disappointed that it contained no classic casino games at all. Instead, it consists entirely of 155.io live games, which let you place bets on CCTV-style live action, like ski slopes, busy highways around the world, or marbles rolling down some stairs.
Although we like these games, it was surprising not to find any live roulette or blackjack tables, from providers like Iconic21 or Evolution. Adding these would take Chino to the next level, game-wise.
Chino Casino Software Providers
The games at Chino come from 17 different software providers, which is a number that makes sense given the total number of games.
It means there are lots of different themes and animation styles to discover among the 1,250 games, and the quality is consistently high from these familiar studios.
At the same time, there isn’t much that stands out here: these are pretty much the most popular providers in the world of sweepstakes gaming and we’ve played pretty much all of these games before on other sites.
The exception is the Originals games, which include some fun skill games we mentioned earlier.

Chino Casino Banking Options
You don’t need to spend any money to play at Chino. You’ll get 1,000 GC and 1 SC as soon as you complete KYC and you can pick up more GC and SC through various promotions, including raffles, challenges and AMOE.
You can also buy GC if you want, which comes with some free SC as a bonus.
Unlike most sweeps casinos, Chino doesn’t have a fixed set of GC packages you can choose from. Instead, you simply type in the amount of money you want to spend and the software shows you how many GC and SC you’ll receive.
The ratio is fixed. For instance, spending $10 gets you 10,000 GC and 10 free SC, and so on. The minimum purchase is $5.
Although there isn’t exactly a usual first purchase bonus, Chino consistently sent us time-sensitive reload promotions via the little messenger icon, including free spins and percentage match offers.
When we first joined, we had one hour to get 50 free spins if we spent $20 on GC. We missed this window, but Chino soon came back with another offer that was valid for another 12 hours, and so on.
Chino accepts Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, GPay or a long list of cryptocurrencies that span popular stablecoins and also more volatile coins. We always like when sites support both fiat and crypto, giving players the flexibility to choose whatever they prefer.
Cash prize redemptions become available once you have won an eligible 100 SC. There are no gift card prizes available at lower rates, which is a pity.
As with its InspireCore sister sites, SC playthrough works a little differently at Chino. Instead of a flat 1x rate (which is the case at most sweepstakes casinos), the number of times you need to play through some SC depends on how you received it, with different playthrough rates for different promotions. The info appears in both your Rewards section and your Wallet.
That said, the vast majority of SC we got came with the usual 1x playthrough, including via GC purchases. Still, it’s important to bear in mind that other rates are possible.
Although it was a little frustrating to have to complete KYC before we got a welcome bonus, it did mean our first redemption was very smooth. Once we won enough SC, we were able to choose between ACH transfer or a push-to-card option. Crypto redemptions aren’t available.
Both options took less than 48 hours total when we tested them. Chino also mentions PayPal and Venmo as options in their FAQs, but they didn’t appear for us when we checked.
Is Chino Casino Safe?
Yes, we’re happy to give Chino our seal of approval as a safe sweepstakes casino.
Sweeps sites are legally required to verify the age and identity of players before they can redeem prizes, and Chino makes you do this right away in order to receive your welcome bonus. The process is done through Veriff, which speeds up and simplifies the process. It took us 30 minutes in total, but that was mostly because we didn’t have the documents prepared in advance.
Chino stocks games from trusted software providers, like Hacksaw and BGaming, with a proven track record of producing fair RNG-powered games. The Originals games use provably fair technology so you can actually verify the results every time.
The info that Chino stores on-site is protected by 256-bit encryption, which is considered very strong. Payment info is also encrypted.
Chino also goes the extra mile with its Responsible Gaming resources. There is a self-assessment quiz, lots of useful tips for playing safely, and links to supporting organizations like the National Council on Problem Gambling and Gamblers Anonymous. You can also use the following tools to manage your experience:
- Purchase limits
- Sessions reminders
- Time-out periods
- Self-exclusion
Legal Status of Chino Casino
Chino is not a gambling website. Instead, it’s a sweepstakes casino open to anyone over the age of 18, in one of the legal Chino states.
Even though you can redeem cash prizes when you play using SC, these legally fall under the category of promotional sweepstakes prizes, not gambling winnings.
Chino Casino Customer Support
We’ve got no complaints with the customer support at Chino, which is primarily based around live chat.
We’ve noticed a clear trend recently of AI-based live chat becoming much more sophisticated, and that was the case here. Most of the time, our questions were answered effectively by the automated bot.
On one occasion (when we were trying to figure out how to get our welcome bonus), the bot said we needed to be transferred to a human agent to check our account status. This process took 20 minutes and the agent explained the steps needed to unlock our bonus.
All in all, the system seems to work perfectly. There is also a pretty detailed list of FAQs, which we found useful for gathering information and understanding the basics of the site. You can also email the team for support if you don’t want to use live chat for whatever reason, at [email protected].
Chino Casino Review Summary
We spent a total of 14 hours playing at Chino before writing this review, and our lasting impression of the site is positive.
Even though the lineup of games isn’t the largest we’ve ever seen, it comes out on top in terms of variety and ease of use. In fact, we found the user experience at Chino very smooth across the board: it’s very easy to browse, the customer support is reliable, purchasing GC is easy using the tool, and so on. A special word for the VIP Program, which is one of the best we’ve seen, with tangible benefits and attainable progress.
As for improvements, the welcome bonus is definitely a let down. 1,000 GC and 1 free SC is on the lower end of what we expect, and Chino makes you fully complete KYC before you can even get it. There isn’t a standard first purchase offer either, just various time-sensitive offers that are less valuable than the usual 200% bonus that many casinos offer.
We’d love to hear from you, too. Let us know if you’ve played at Chino and how your experience has been over in our Casinomeister forums.
