It’s clear that Baba is pitching its product towards casual players. The software is bright and basic, almost like an old school video game interface. With just over 260 games on the menu, this is not a casino that is trying to dazzle with selection. Instead, it offers a small but interesting menu of slots from top software providers. The 500,000 GC and 2 SC welcome bonus was a highlight too. 

On the flipside, it’s clear that if you’re looking for a casino that offers the most up-to-date experience, Baba Casino isn’t it. The game library is smaller than usual, and it’s missing all kinds of games that are standard at other sites: video poker, table games, live games, crash games, arcade games and more. Baba is a new sweepstakes casino, and it’s all about slots. There are 264 of them on the menu in total, and no games of other types at all. Impressively, close to 90 of these are jackpot slots, with four jackpots in play at all times while you play. The games come from a small but reputable selection of providers: Ruby Play, Spinomenal and Pragmatic Play. 

The range of simple and valuable promos at Baba was a highlight, starting with the welcome bonus. We got 500,000 GC and 2 free SC as soon as we signed up. The daily login bonus is guaranteed income of both GC and SC, and it grows over time. Here’s how it works:

• Day 1: 1,000 GC + 0.2 SC
• Day 2: 1,500 GC + 0.25 SC
• Day 3: 1.500 GC + 0.25 SC
• Day 4: 5,000 GC + 0.3 SC
• Day 5: 5,750 GC + 0.35 SC

Baba is active with giveaways on social media too. All of this means you can easily keep your free supply of coins topped up, but if you want to buy some extra GC, you’ll get a 150% boost on your first purchase. 

Baba is available in just 28 states, which is much fewer than most sweepstakes casinos. For instance, even McLuck, another site with a reputation for below average access, is still available in 36 states. 

How Does Baba Casino Work? 

Baba Casino is a social casino. All the games can be played for free, using either Gold Coins or Sweeps Coins. You can’t deposit or withdraw money to your account like you would at a regular casino, and you can’t bet real money on games.

Playing with Gold Coins is like playing in demo mode. No matter how many you win, you can’t withdraw them or redeem them for prizes. You’re pretty unlikely to run out of free GC at Baba Casino, thanks to the generous welcome bonus and regular ongoing bonuses. 

Playing with Sweeps Coins is a little different. Technically, you are participating in sweepstakes contests when you use SC. Any SC you receive as a free bonus must be played 1x on games, and after that it becomes eligible for prize redemptions. You need 50 eligible SC for a gift card prize, or 100 SC for a cash transfer. 

Sweeps Coins can’t be purchased, only received for free as a bonus. Gold Coins can however, and if you buy them you often receive some free bonus SC.

Baba Casino has a relatively small number of games, all of which are slots. We counted 264 in total, which pales in comparison to casinos like Stake.us and WOW Vegas, both of which have well over 1,000 games on the menu. 

Although undeniably one dimensional compared with other casinos, it’s not to say that Baba still isn’t a lot of fun. In our opinion, it’s a good casino for casual players who simply want to play slots, and aren’t interested in the bells and whistles of bigger sites. 

The menu includes plenty of big name slots, like Big Bass Splash and Jokers Jewels. We also liked to see a healthy range of different mechanics, including Hold & Wins, Megaways, and 1000 Series games. You can filter the menu by the different software providers, as well as by other categories like new releases and Megaways.

One area where Baba absolutely can compete with the big boys is with jackpot slots. There are 90 games with jackpots on the menu – the Mini, Minor, Grand and Major – all of which get triggered at different rates. It’s an excellent selection of jackpots and, in gaming terms, this is one of Baba Casino’s strongest points.

This is definitely a more limited selection compared to most social casinos, and Baba also doesn’t have any exclusive games that we could find. However, it does have a separate section for new games, so you can easily glance over new titles as the game library grows.

The banking options at Baba Casino are pretty basic. Gold Coins can only be purchased using either Visa or Mastercard, with no e-wallet, bank transfer or crypto options for purchases. 

We found the process very simple, and it’s true that bank cards are still the most popular method for players purchasing GC. Still, the lack of options is disappointing, and it puts Baba behind most social casinos.

You’ll need 50 SC to request a gift card or 100 SC for a cash transfer, which gets sent straight to your bank account. You’ll need to complete full verification before you can make purchases or redemptions, which is a pretty simple process at Baba handled by Sumsub, a third party verification service.

Yes, we’re happy that Baba is a safe social casino. 

The games at Baba come from well-known and established providers, and games use RNG software to produce random outcomes.

Full player verification is required before you can either buy GC or redeem SC, which is good. Many social casinos skip this step until it’s time to request a prize, which can lead to some uncomfortable situations for the player. The process is handled through Sumsub, a third-party service – meaning, Baba doesn’t personally review or keep your personal documents. 

Perhaps counterintuitively, we take it as a positive sign when sweepstakes casinos are accepted in just a small number of states. While not exactly a good thing in itself if you live in a restricted state, it does suggest that Baba is being ultra cautious with state regulations and not taking any chances. 

Baba also has a “Responsible Social Gaming” page, which provides (relatively basic) information about how to play safely. More impressively, we were happy to see that you could set spending limits, and request self exclusion from the casino for six months, five years, or permanently.

Customer support at Baba could definitely be improved. At first we were happy to see the big floating “Help” button at the corner of the screen, which looks like a live chat button at first glance. 

However, when you click it, you are simply shown a contact form along with just seven FAQs. It feels pretty bare bones. We’d like to see a much more detailed FAQ section, and real live chat support. 

Worse still, when we sent questions via the contact form, we didn’t get a response over the seven days we were writing our Baba casino review. This is simply not good enough and we hope Baba improves their customer support in the future. It’s by far the biggest weak point right now.

After spending several days exploring everything on offer at Baba, we’re chalking it down as a good site for beginners and casual slots players, but with room for improvement.

We’re big fans of both the welcome bonus and the progressive daily login bonus, which provide a steady stream of both GC and SC. This is a site where you genuinely don’t have to pay money to keep playing over time, which is important for a social casino. 

The design of the site is quirky and retro, and we can see how it would appeal to fans of classic arcade video games (even though there are no arcade games on offer). It’s a simple, attractive interface that keeps the focus on the games, all of which are slots. The 90 jackpot games were a highlight, too. 

The flipside of simplicity is that Baba Casino is missing a lot of games that are pretty easy to find at other social casinos: table games, live dealer games, crash games, fishing games, and arcade games, to name a few.

It’s a similar story with the rest of the site. The banking process is smooth, but it’s limited to bank cards for purchases and transfers for cash redemptions. The customer support options need to be improved, too, as a lack of live chat is a big downside for any social casino today..
