Pokerstars Facing Online Boycott

Players urged to stand against changes in PokerStars' 2016 VIP system

Russian online poker player and twoplustwo forum member Dani Stern aka "I from Russian" is taking on online poker giant PokerStars saying "a site that was once clearly for the players, has completely lost sight of that".
Stern is attempting to mobilise a 72 hour boycott of PokerStars from December 1 to 3 in protest of the Amaya Inc. subsidiary's "aggressive overhaul of the 2016 VIP system".
The initiative, which originally began on Russian online poker forum Gypsyteam, will use the success of the boycott as a gauge for similar action in the future.
In addition to the online boycott, Stern asks supporters to withdraw "any sum" from their PokerStars account on December 1 in support of the campaign and urges PokerStars players to sign up saying this is just the beginning if Amaya Inc. don't make amendments to their proposed 2016 VIP system.
The origin of the action on Russian poker forum Gipsyteam can be accessed here: http://forum.gipsyteam.ru/index.php?showtopic=107331
The twoplustwo forum post appears at: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28/internet-poker/joint-strike-1st-3rd-december-registration-other-amaya-stars-protests-1569711/
The demarche had garnered over 1600 supporters when InfoPowa went to press.
