More Appeal For Doubledown Casino's Wheel Of Fortune

Extra Spin available on both desktop and mobile channels

Two bonuses are always better than one, and International Game Technology's social gaming website DoubleDown Casino has upped the ante with the launch Tuesday of Wheel of Fortune Extra Spin for desktop and mobile devices.

Wheel of Fortune is the most popular game theme on DoubleDown Casino, and inspired by the classic slot machine Wheel of Fortune Extra Spin features the Wheel Bonus, which changes all of the spin symbols into the letters W-H-E-E-L, with each letter revealing a number of extra spins or awards of 10 to 250x the initiating bet.

Lady Luck strikes twice with the Vault Bonus, which changes all of the Vault symbols on the centre reels into pickers, revealing payouts from 5 to 25x the initiating bet.

"We put a huge amount of focus and talent into Wheel of Fortune Extra Spin, said DoubleDown Interactive VP Jim Veevaert, adding that in his opinion the developers struck the ideal balance of art, math and audio.

Wheel of Fortune Extra Spin is based on a 3 x 5 reel spinner and 20-line configuration, with a Scatter award that pays virtual currency. The iconic Wild symbol also acts as a 2x multiplier.

More Wheel of Fortune titles are currently in development for DoubleDown Casino, as part of IGT's multi-year agreement with Sony Pictures Consumer Products to develop mobile and online games for DoubleDown Casino and for-wager online play worldwide through 2024, Veevaert revealed.
