Microgaming Launch Much Anticipated Jurassic Park

Iconic theme integrated into feature, visual and audio rich online slot

Through its licensing agreement with Universal Partnerships & Licensing, Microgaming has released its much anticipated Jurassic Park online slot via download, Flash and Quickfire platforms today (Wednesday).
The game features 243 ways to win across five reels and transports the player to a bygone era using 3D-rendered imagery, environmental animations and realistic, quality audio.
During the games free spins feature, activated by landing three or more of the Mosquito in Amber symbols, the island's most memorable dinosaurs such as Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-Rex), Velociraptor, Brachiosaurus and Triceratops take centre stage.
Players are randomly awarded one of five dinosaur-themed features. Each dinosaur awards 12 free spins and its own unique set of bonus features. These include wild reels, mystery multipliers, split wilds, wild multipliers, winning wilds and a new evolution of Running Wilds™. Once triggered 25 times, players will have the option to choose their favourite dinosaur during the free spins rounds.
The T-Rex also appears prominently throughout the base game. At any random moment the giant Theropod can escape from its paddock and take over the screen, triggering the T-Rex Alert Mode. The mode lasts for six spins, during which 35 extra wild symbols are added to the reels.
Roger Raatgever, CEO of Microgaming, comments: "Welcome… to Jurassic Park! Since signing the Jurassic Park franchise earlier in the year, we have been on a grand adventure to create this online slot. Jurassic Park is an enormous brand so we knew we had to create something spectacular to represent the franchise's iconic status. The game goes live today with our operators and I'm very proud of what we have achieved; it's one of our greatest slot creations to date!"

Infopowa news was a staple of Casinomeister’s news from 2000 until 2019. Brian Cullingworth was the main writer, contributor, and was one of the most knowledgeable persons I have ever known involved in the online casino industry.

We first met in January 2001 at the ICE in London where I observed him going booth to booth interviewing online casino, software, and licensing jurisdiction representatives. Brian was also heavily involved with our forum as “Jetset“, he was involved as an informal consultant to eCOGRA, the OPA, and was a player advocate who assisted countless aggrieved players with his connections to industry folks. He also published “Casino Cautions” via Infopowa news for quite a number of years. These can be found in our news archives.

His passing in February 2019 was a dark day for us. He will be forever missed.
