Nevada-based Metric Gaming LLC has appointed Louis Castle as chairman of the board of directors, replacing Peter Bertilsson who will take over the role of president and chief executive officer (see previous InfoPowa reports).

Castle joins Metric's Board of Directors having served as Shuffle Master's Chief Strategy Officer since October 2011, prior to which he served as Vice President of Studios at Zynga Inc., Chief Executive Officer of InstantAction, Inc., Vice President of Creative Development at the Los Angeles studio of Electronic Arts, Inc., and co-founder of Westwood Studios, an entertainment software company that was subsequently acquired by Electronic Arts.
