Laos State Lottery To Launch Online Football Betting

City retail stations and online registration by mid February

The Bangkok Post reports that the Lao Development Lottery State Enterprise (LDLSE) will soon offer a football lottery service allowing gamblers in the Asian country to forecast and bet on winners of soccer matches.

The gambling site will reportedly offer betting on a daily basis, as long as there are football matches available, and is advertised on the state enterprise's website.

A lottery official said the LDLSE is setting up twenty retail branches in the capital city and that gamblers will legally be able to set up online gambling accounts for the first time in Laos' history.
