Ice Casino Review

Enjoy more than 3,500 games

By Alex Smith, Last updated Sep 2, 2024

Casinomeister's Verdict

Ice Casino seems to be alright. They have a huge assortment of games and their withdrawals are pretty fast. Unfortunately, no US or UK players allowed. This casino is in the Grey Zone at Casinomeister. Once they have a forum representative, we can move them to the Neutral Zone – for now, they have no rep here.

A solid casino with thousands of games and generous bonuses

First Impression

Ice Casino was launched back in 2021, and despite a relatively low-key presence here at Casinomeister, they’re an online platform worth checking out – for reasons you’ll discover in this Ice Casino review.

There are more than 3,500 games on offer – with new titles added frequently – and these games come from studios like Pragmatic Play, Endorphina, Nolimit City, Movilots, Blueprint Gaming, Habanero, Play’n Go, Retro Gaming, Betsoft, Push Gaming, Novomatic, Gamomat, Elk Studios, Tom Horn Gaming, Oryx Gaming, Thunderkick, PlayPearls, Spinoro, Swintt, NeEnt, and Igrosoft.

Areas like customer support and mobile gaming are well taken care of (there’s even a dedicated Android and iOS app), and to kick off this review, we’re going to begin by looking at the site’s new-player welcome bonus.

Pros

  • Enjoy more than 3,500 games

  • Claim up to $1,500 as a new player

  • Fast EWallet withdrawals

Cons

  • Only licensed in Curacao

  • No UK or US players

Welcome Offer

Now, let’s kick things off with a look at the casino’s main welcome bonus. Ice Casino’s rolling out the red carpet for all new players by offering a four-deposit welcome pack – and this allows you to claim up to $1,500 in bonus cash and a whopping 270 free spins. Here’s how it breaks down:

On your first deposit of at least $10, you’ll be able to claim a 120% matched deposit bonus – up to $300 – and you’ll also get 120 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza. Second, you have two options. Go small with $10-$49 for a 125% match up to $250 and 50 free spins on Ice Mania. Or go big with $50+ for a 200% match up to $700 and 100 free spins on Starburst.

On your third deposit you are then offered a 100% match up to $200 – and just 25 free spins on Wolf Gold. Things get more generous again on your fourth deposit; claim a 110% match bonus up to $300 and another 25 free spins on Book of Rebirth.

No-Deposit & Free Spins Offers

Ice Casino does not offer any no-deposit bonuses or no-deposit free spins promotions at the time of writing. If this changes in the future, we will do our best to update this review accordingly.

VIP and Loyalty Programs

Ice Casino’s Loyalty Program isn’t just your cookie-cutter rewards scheme. In fact, in Casinomeister’s opinion, Ice Casino has done a pretty excellent job in this department – and here’s why.

For every $2.5 you splash out on games (except in the live casino), you’ll receive one point. These points? They’re not just for show – you can convert ’em to cold, hard cash right in your profile, too.

Plus, to make things even better – once you begin earning enough points, you will then be able to work your way through the ten different loyalty levels – of which there are 99 in total. All new players automatically join the Beginner level, with the VIP tier being the highest. Each level unlocks better perks, with exchange rates improving as you ascend the ladder.

Now, if you do manage to hit level ten, you’ll also receive a generous weekly bonus of 90% on your first deposit of the week. Sure, there’s a maximum withdrawal limit of $200 from the bonus – but that’s still not bad, considering it’s – essentially – free cash.

Banking & Payment Methods

Ice Casino allows you to make deposits and withdrawals using a wide variety of payment methods – although please note that specific payment method availability can vary depending on your location. The online casino accepts all major Credit and Debit Cards – primarily VISA and MasterCard – EWallets like Neteller and Skrill – and other banking options like Trustly, PaySafeCard, EPS, AstroPay, rapid!, Jeton, ecoPayz, and MiFINITY.

Deposits are credited to your account instantly. Ice Casino does not charge any transaction fees. However, your bank or payment provider may charge a fee – especially if you’re depositing in a non-native currency – so this is always something worth remembering.

Withdrawal Speed

Withdrawals at Ice Casino are processed quickly – although, due to the (current) lack of any cryptocurrencies, they’re not the fastest in the industry. Ice Casino states that EWallet withdrawals will be processed within 12 hours – and cashouts to other payment methods are generally processed within 24 hours.

However, you should be aware that if your account requires verification – more details on this later in this review – your withdrawal may be delayed until such a time that your account has been verified.

Customer support

Ice Casino offers customer support to all registered players – and you can reach the team in two ways. Firstly, there’s the live chat facility which allows you to speak with a member of the customer support team in real time. The live chat facility runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and, in our experience, it takes just a minute or two to be connected to an operator.

Live chat is available in multiple languages including English, German, Russian, Finnish, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, Hungarian, French – and, even English-Canadian – and you can initiate a live chat conversation by pressing the “chat” icon in the bottom corner of the online casino.

Now, if you prefer not to use live chat – or, for some reason, are unable to – you can also reach Ice Casino by email. Their customer support email address is support@icecasino.com

KYC

Surprisingly, Ice Casino has a pretty comprehensive Know Your Customer (KYC) page outlined on its site – and this is actually separate from the main terms and conditions; definitely a plus point. It’s quite a lengthy page, but the general summary is shown below:

The Company applies Standard Verification (or, in legal terms, due diligence) in the following circumstances:

  1. The total amount of the transactions, made through the Website by a user, reaches or exceeds USD/EUR 1000;
  2. In the process of the risk assessment is determined, that a user presents a significant risk of money laundering or terrorist financing;
  3. The behavior of the user contains one or more factors, that gives the grounds to suspect a user in the usage of the Website in violation of the Terms and Conditions;
  4. In other cases, when the personnel of the Company consider the Verification as a necessary measure.”

So, on paper at least, you will need to complete a Know Your Customer (KYC) check once you deposit or withdraw more than €1,000 – and once this limit is reached, you will need to upload the necessary verification documents.

Website Experience and Features

Visually Ice Casino is modern, well made, and user friendly. The online casino focuses primarily on a blue and white color scheme, and this is seen in pretty much all veins of the platform. Like most casinos, the “Log In” and “Sign Up” buttons are found in the top right-hand corner of the screen – and creating an account takes, on average, just a couple of minutes – although if you’re required to undergo an initial verification check this process may take longer.

Now, where things get interesting, is that Ice Casino actually offers a downloadable mobile casino app. This is pretty unusual for a smaller platform like this – and it’s free for Android and iOS devices.

During our writing of this casino review, we tested out the Ice Casino mobile app – and found it to be pretty good – although not perfect. Naturally, the development budget won’t be as big as what you’d see with some of the bigger-name casinos, but it’s still a solid app, and aside from a few minor complaints like menus not resizing perfectly – we don’t think most players will have any issues.

Brand games

Providers

Ice Casino delivers a fantastic selection of casino games – and these are provided by more than 30 industry-leading software providers. You’ll be able to enjoy titles from studios like Pragmatic Play, Endorphina, Nolimit City, Movilots, Blueprint Gaming, Habanero, Play’n Go, Retro Gaming, Betsoft, Push Gaming, Novomatic, Gamomat, Elk Studios, Tom Horn Gaming, Oryx Gaming, Thunderkick, PlayPearls, Spinoro, Swintt, NeEnt, Yggdrasil Gaming – and more.

Slots

Today, pretty much every online casino focuses extensively on video slots – and Ice Casino is no exception. Under the “Slots” tab, you will find a wide variety of slot games, which you can narrow down by provider, and even theme.

At the time of writing this Ice Casino review, we found more than 3,500 slots on offer – with some popular ones including Dark Wolf, Hell Hot 100, Book of Rebirth: Extreme, Stampede Gold, 40 Mega Hotfire, Juicy Wheel, Egypt Coin Link: Running Wins, Luck of Tiger, Fortune three, Moneyfest, Extra Gems, and Wild West TRUEWAYS.

Live Dealer Games

A quick glance at Ice Casino’s live casino page will show you two leading software providers power the live platform; Evolution (previously Evolution Gaming) and Pragmatic Play LIVE. While there are other game developers, the availability of titles depends on your location.

There’s a solid selection of live dealer games, covering classics like blackjack and roulette, along with more unique titles like Monopoly LIVE and Crazy Time.

Table Games

Despite having a dedicated “Table Games” tab on their main game navigation menu, the selection of titles at Ice Casino isn’t the most impressive – and it’s clear the site focuses primarily on slots. With that being said, they do cover most bases – it’s just annoying that they include their live dealer games with their non-live ones.

Some of the casino table games we found when writing this casino review, for example, include Dragon Tiger, Hot Safari 50,000, American Blackjack, Single Deck Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, and Multihand Blackjack.

Progressive jackpots

Much in keeping with many of the smaller – newer – online casinos, Ice Casino doesn’t appear to have a dedicated progressive jackpots tab like you may see at older sites. They do, however, have a “Drops and Wins” tab – and this is, of course, where you’ll find all of Pragmatic Play’s jackpot games which utilize the iconic Drops and Wins mechanic.

Today, a lot of their releases contain this mechanic – but some popular titles include Gates of Olympus, Sweet Bonanza, Sugar Rush, Big Bass Splash, The Dog House Megaways, and Book of Fallen.

About the Team and History

Ice Casino was launched in 2021, making it a relatively new name in the iGaming world. The site is owned and operated by an online gambling company called Brivio Limited, and they’re registered in Cyprus. However, as is common for online casinos, the platform is licensed and regulated in Curacao – operating under a Master License.

The platform accepts players worldwide, although there are some restricted countries to be aware of. Unfortunately, you will not be able to register an account if you’re from Afghanistan, American Samoa, Aruba, Australia, Belgium, Bonaire, Cyprus, Curacao, Czech Republic, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea), Ethiopia, France, Switzerland, Germany, Great Britain, Guyana, Guam, Iraq, Iran, Italy, Israel, Malta, Netherlands, Laos, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Pakistan, Russia, Saba, Serbia, Singapore, Spain, Statia, St. Maarten St. Eustatius, Syria, Sri Lanka, United Kingdom, Uganda, United States of America, Ukraine, Vanuatu, Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, or Yemen.

Complaints and Track Record

At the time of writing this casino review (August 2024) the phrase “Ice Casino” doesn’t generate any results in the Casinomeister forums. While this may seem like a negative – it’s actually generally a good thing, in our experience – and this is because a lot of players will only ever post in the forum if they have a negative experience with a casino.

As of now, Ice Casino is a smaller – yet relatively trustworthy brand – and if and when players post about them in the forums (good or bad), we’ll update this Ice Casino review accordingly.
