I’ve played every one of the Big Bass games and my experience is if it plays like crap for the first while - it’ll be crap till you stop playing the game… if it starts lucky the run usually sticks for a while…. Like most Pragmatic games it seems you aren’t playing it till it runs hot as it typically never has those nice ups and downs - if it starts down it just takes you further and further down. High volatility and sample size be damned - I’ve dumped thousands into their games and can confidently say I know when to close the game and when to stick with it.

New BB titles are on a monthly release schedule now, aren't they? This week it was Big Bass Day at the Races, and come April it's BB Medieval. I'm struggling to get any decent spin count on whichever is the current one, before another one comes along. It's not enjoyable.

But had to try the newest one, of course. Sat down with a 250x worth of bankroll looking forward to keep it running all evening. Those 250x were gone in 30 minutes. It's not enjoyable.

It seems to be a reskin of Amazon Extreme. I prefer it to Amazon Extreme, in that the skin is better. But the game itself is very feast and famine. Lots of 10x bonuses.

Tried it a bit longer in demo mode - still lots of 10x-20x bonuses, and a couple of 1000x. My favourite varieties remain the original, Christmas and Christmas Bash.

At least with this iteration it looks like you can get the super/enhance bonus from playing the base game. That’s something at least.

See, I don’t mind the re-skins. Choose the one you like, stick with it. No harm there. They’re obviously popular enough that it’s worth the minimal effort to keep churning them out, and there’s now a decent mix of volatility styles for them.

Fair point but for those with limited bank roll who made £10-£15 deposits occasionally, its either choose one of the 10,000 skins and hope to get super lucky or...

Choose my tactic and avoid all of them and lose on once awesome and fair and now super Evo rigged DoA at 0.09p spins

One thing I find horrendous is the bonus being so difficult to get just to be kicked in the ass and sent packing with a single fisherman landing…. Talk about insult to injury…. And has anyone EVER landed one of them high paying fish…..? I sure af have not.

I've done ok on that game. Won £35 on LeoVegas from 30 free spins they gave me with a 20p value. Bonuses are nice when you get them. I advise playing them on Bet365 who have maximum RTP on the Big Bass games too.It certainly helps.

Which makes you ponder the legitimacy of the hit in the first place, no? Any “bonus” spins /bonus cash a lot of sites offer are limited to a select group of developers I find and Pragmatic is most definitely leading the charge in that regard. Laughed my ass off when I read the fine print to the “deposit 150+ and be entered into the Bose sound system giveaway” CR is offering… “reserve right to replace Bose system with 2000 BONUS dollars of product cannot be provided”…. . Playing bonus “buttons” magical things happen…. Unless you’re on your way to rollover it seems.

Another thing that may occur when they release new titles at this pace: we get an unpolished product with an unfinished feel to it. Love or hate Pragmatic, their slots were always high quality. Now not so much.

On BB Day at the Races, when you play with another language than English, the translation is stuck on BB Amazon, so rather than 'Pick a Horse' it says 'Pick a Pot'. Not a big deal perhaps, but it's still sloppy and for me it ruins immersion.

Today, I discovered something far worse. Or at least I think I did, unless I am missing something about the function of the Golden Rider. During the free spins, it appeared but the assigned value was only 15x ! Imagine if Barry Bass had appeared as well and the win had only been for that low value..!

That looks like a graphical error for sure. Perhaps Pragmatic will give you a bug bounty...
