The bonus cap Imo is horrific, especially with the £800 or so bonus balance( capped at £2500)

Also, the game lagged for me and i cannot tell if my bet was accepted or not, and i may have lost a significant amount

They did a promotion this week which they advertised on twitter so must have got a lot of people in the net. Deposit and wager £75 and get 100 free spins , i did the wagering and won £15 only to get banned for low risk bonus abuse.
I wouldn't have thought wagering through £75 was low risk , they have shafted myself and there must be many more.

They are banning customers and not giving them free spins, they also did not allow jack hammer 2 and called it a technical glitch, when in reality they did this because the min spin is 50 p so you get £50 free spins instead of £25

Downright stupid, all users who took part should be refunded

I opened my account with them on 4th June and played slots with £75 expecting to get 100 free spins on Friday 6th June when promotion finished. They closed the promotion on 5th June one day early and then on 6th June I get a mass produced email saying my account has been blocked/closed for fraudulent behaviour??
I was accused of using low risk strategy(ie playing Roulette) where I gambled on slots,which is not low risk
They said bonuses are for genuine recreational players only-surely that is what I am, I am not a professional gambler!
They claim I may be operating multiple and or linked accounts-I have one account with them only
They also claim I play predominantly or only when bonuses are on offer-my account has been open less than 2 days so how can that be??
They then go on to say 'as a gesture of goodwill we will refund UP TO £75 in UP TO 30 days-how does it take 30 days to do a bank transfer??
My opinion is that they didn't realise how many people would take up this promotion and the offer was possibly a bit generous and they cannot afford to pay out.
Their email was obviously sent out to many many people but does not state what I personally have supposed to have done wrong. I have emailed them asking exactly how I have abused their terms & conditions.
When I originally gambled on their slot I game I was £35 up, so my balance is £75 + £35 winnings. They now say they may pay back the original £75 and keep my winnings. They are trying any trick to avoid paying out what I and many other people are entitled to.
They say they will reply to my email within 7 business days but I don't feel confident that a third rate company like this will honour their obligations.
My next step will be to make a complaint to Alderney Gambling Control Commission. Has anyone on here had any luck when complaining to them before? If they are no help then I will go higher as I don't believe a company like this should be allowed to keep trading and ripping off their genuine customers.

They could have simply put a x30 or x40 free spins wagering requirement but they didnt

They should fire the person who put this promotion up.

I saw an offer on Twitter offering 100 free spins on Jack Hammer 1 or 2 to be given after depositing and wagering £75 on one of those slots.

On Thursday I signed up, deposited and wagered £75 on Jack Hammer 2, making a profit of around £14. On Friday I received an email stating that my account has been closed and that I will receive a refund of £75 within 30 days "as a gesture of goodwill". The reason they gave for closing my account is that, according to them, I "adopted a low risk or risk free strategy".

How can playing the slots that had to be played within the bonus terms be considered to be adopting a low risk or risk free strategy? And how can giving me my money back be described as a gesture of goodwill? All I've done is play slots. If they consider playing slots as a low risk or risk free strategy, and that this is against their bonus terms, then they shouldn't offer a bonus such as this at all as it is against their own terms to do so. Absolutely crazy and, at the very least, I should get my money back plus winnings immediately (not within 30 days). I no longer care about the sodding free spins.
 
I Joined over 6-8 weeks back from a site offering 300%. went to live double checked the code and asked about wagering in which they gave me the Link for (Yes a LINK for the promo), Anyway left live deposited straight away £50. No bonus went on so back to live (max 5min between visits). There response was......" Sorry this promo as ended over 2 weeks ago but we can give you 100%" I Declined withdrew and asked the numpties to close my account as i felt they tricked me into it.

Account closure

Metro play casino is a joke.

I deposited £75 as part of their promo (100 free spins) turned over my deposit as per the terms & conditions. Played through it on the slots plain and simple. Received an email 2 days later saying my account had been terminated.

'We have been monitoring your activity on the site and our analysis of your activity evidences that you are in breach of Clause 13 of our General Bonus Terms & Conditions by ‘adopting a low risk or risk free strategy’.

Since when has playing slots been considered a low or risk free strategy!

'On this occasion, as gesture of goodwill, if you have not already profited from breaching our T&Cs, we will process a refund up to £75 to resolve this matter. The withdrawal may take up to 30 days to be processed.'

I actually had a balance of £111 last time i was allowed to log in to my account...money i won legitimately. I want them to put in writing exactly what they are accusing ME of so if they don't refund the full amount of £111 then I will complain to the Alderney Gambling Commission

If that was the case (just Cash Play), and you were denied any winnings then its time to PAB (Pitch a Bitch). I don't think they are within their rights to deny winnings off cash play. They may have some funky clause prohibiting you from receiving the 100 Free Spins but only a rogue would deny winnings off cash.

Crikey, I had recently opened an account here but thankfully, I haven't deposited yet as I thought they were pretty new so was waiting to read a few others' experiences. Today is the first time I have seen this thread.

Safe to say I'll be giving this lot a wide berth as they obviously don't have a clue what they're doing. Pretty shocking to read about so many account closures, amongst the other complaints.

It was just the cash promo that i took up...no other bonus offer.

When i try to access the complaints page...you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Didn't take up any bonus offer, just the wager £75 for 100 free spins. I wagered £75 of my own cash and made a profit of around £14 leaving a balance of around £89. They said that they will refund the £75 deposit (within 30 days mind you) so keeping my legitimately won profits. I don't care about the free spins.

its advertised towards mainly uk players, they also seem like they are from a gambling forum etc, or maybe another forum like a footie forum/deals website/facebook group

don't forget sneaky max cashouts

like I said previously , extremely rogue behavior when they email you a double offer, ie 150 up tio £500 instead of £250, and they change the terms so that the NEW emailed SUB has HALF as much max cashout ie £2500 if you deposit £300 you get £450 bonus and £750 all together, now you cannot cash out more than £2500, which is absurd

While the Original SUB( 150% up to £250) has a max cashout of £5000, and the email that your "Special" sign up bonus contaisn no information about this change to max cashout, so your average non-bonus abuser joe will have no idea of this term.

if they are indeed withholding everyones winnings and shutting accounts for no reason then unlike some of the rogue outfits from overseas it should be possible for players to get their money . After all since its a uk casino licenced here and accepting only uk players it must be a lot easier to get money than it would if it was some foreign casino that isn't regulated. Im sure some members will be able to tell you who exactly you complain to and how to go about it,
 
If MetroPlay do not honour my winnings and refund my full money due I will complain to Alderney Gambling Commission, but how inpartial are they going to be?? They have issued MetroPlay with a gambling licence but have been paid a fee of a minimum of £35000 per year to do so(the fees are listed on their site) so how can they arbitrate in a fair manner when they have a large financial interest in MetroPlay-are they really going to take their licence off them or go against them and lose a large licence fee?? Who is over Alderney Gambling Commission-they in turn must be answerable to somebody higher up??
