@ Wild Reels - please see my below response, as mentioned this is something we are constantly monitoring and I will feedback shortly. The BBF is providing us with some excellent insight which we will be using to help shape our strategy going forward

@lordblucan

Our focus is to be able to manage our users accounts quickly and efficiently, in order to this we require docs within the first 7 days of joining, once docs are received we then credit accounts with a free £5 bonus.

sorry im confused, you only accept uk players and are a uk casino yet you need all members to supply documents within 7days, okay maybe its just me but ive never been asked to have to supply documents within 7days unless it was for a withdrawal, and any casino ive used that was just for uk players have never needed documents at all, most can verify who you are these days without need for documents, even casinos based in other countries don't ask for my documents within 7days of registering and many cash out to my neteller account without needing id, for example signed up to guts a few weeks ago and live chat said no need for documents if we need them well ask, cashed out £400 few days later and got payment no probs with no request for id yet you need documents within 7days from a uk player just to be able to play , no thanks seems a lot of hassle especially with your bonus terms

@luke.metroplay - Welcome to CM :)

BBF is kinda like beta testing for software. If a casino makes it through this rigourous stress test, it goes on to become accredited. Taking into account other casino's who have run this gauntlet in the past, the common denominator shared among these, is a humble approach. I don't think you could find a more challenging, unbiased testing bed, than is here at BBF. Its contributors are players, who, have heard it all and then some. Albeit they can come across as being cynical at times but that's not a bad thing, especially when there are genuine red flags.

casino that can stand up again any of our competitors.

Going on the wagering T&C's etc etc, your clearly not in this league, yet. To make this process as smooth as possible, making claims like this will probably cause friction. As I said, it's the casino's who have a humble approach in BBF, who receive the least amount of flack. Probably because they know the players at CM and in BBF section, are helping the casino with their (the players) time and input. And as a result, fingers crossed, the casino improves.

Yep, all seems a bit over the top to me. I have a feeling Metro are going to struggle to become accredited with rules like this and their bonus terms. The fact is players have a good choice of casinos to play at now. Casinos that are fair where you know you won't get caught out by predatory or hidden terms or withdrawal/document issues.

Edit to add: I just wanted to stress again that I've never even been asked for documents in over six years and I have had accounts at around 80% of the accredited casinos here and more. I can understand it if you suspect fraud but it seems a little much as a basic requirement. Every other casino seems to effectively manage my accounts without my documents...

I signed up to Metroplay in December. Specifically asked for the sign up bonus to be removed before I deposited as it really was so bad. My experience of play there so far has been fine, but before I make them a regular place to visit, I'm waiting to see if I get paid a quidco sign up bonus that was available at the time with them. If that comes through, then I'll play more often....I kind of look at it as my own version of the sign up bonus. Everything has been tracked, just waiting for the casino to forward the payment.

I signed up, Found it interesting had a few good hits from verry low wager, deposit a £10 and got £15 bonus, I will put a screen shot of what wager I had left, I had no trouble withdrawing, I forgot how much now but it was well over a £100 with only a ten deposit,

I've been informed that you were given full support by the casino to dispute your claims at the AGCC - which you did, and the AGCC sided with the casino. You have also brought this to a small claims court - where you withdrew your claims. Don't come here saying something was so (speak to the hand) when it wasn't. Attempting to exploit this forum for your own personal agenda will end badly for you.

I do not appreciate you trying to rally up a torch-and-pitchfork mob based on bullshit. Thank you.

Apologies for my delay in responding.

I have filed my PAB today, and in order to abide by the rules of the process I will not be making any further comments on the forum, apart from to clear up any confusion over Casinomeister's post #18.

  1. I have not contacted the AGCC, and they have therefore not sided with the casino in this dispute.
  2. I did start a small claim in the UK, but I had to withdraw this temporarily due to a technicality with the papers I submitted. I'm continuing to follow up on the small claim, but the PAB process seems more approachable now Metro Play want to become accredited.

I can only assume there was a miscommunication between the casino and Casinomeister on these two points.

None of the facts in my original post were false or misleading, certainly not "bullshit".

Update from Metro Play Casino Rep

The advice, recommendations and insight CM users are providing us with during the BBF are in-valuable.

We are constantly reviewing our bonus terms and conditions and we are taking all of your comments into consideration.

Hi @ kidgloves

Have you spoken to QuidCo directly about your cashback?

If you are having issues please let me know asap and I will try and resolve asap.

I joined via Quidco and the cashback never tracked. They put in a claim with Metroplay months back and in December the transaction was confirmed for 30 cashback. Still not paid 10 weeks later, so I closed my account.

MetroPlay = Evil

Beware of Metro Play. The are frequent confiscators from what I hear. They confiscated one of my cashins for about 1k. The reason given was that it was at their sole discretion to determine whether or not I had abused a promotion.

I did point out to them that I assumed that they couldn't just make up this and there had to be a genuine reason. However they refused to cite a single term I had broken, deciding instead to give me the talk to the hand treatment,

The are licensed by the Alderney gaming commission and they are about as much help as the mailman.

Hi Dazzlep

Please can you please provide me with more information and I will look into it.

Thanks

What MetroPlay Did to me

Luke,

It's rather simple. Two other members of my family played at MetroPlay in August last year, but according to your rules this was OK as they are separate house holds.

When I complained asking about which specific rule I had broken, Metro came back with a whole bunch of reasons which were not forbidden according to the terms and conditions you had in place at the time. The reasons you gave were-(I'll put my response to each)

only depositing when a high bonus is offered; - Well you offer the bonuses and nothing suggested that I couldn't do this
wagering most of the balance on a low number of bets; - Again nothing in the rules about this at the time
attempting to double-up; - this never happened - thanks to data protection I have my game play history and I can prove it
moving to slots, playing mainly on auto-spin until wagering requirements are met; and - Again never against the rules
once requirements are met withdrawing funds. Well if you've won the money is that not normal?

All you did was state that advantage was taken of the offers and you didn't like it. But it was never against the rules.

Later on in November Metro tightened the rules so that some of the above actions were not allowed. But at the time I played you could not have inferred this from the previous terms and conditions.

You also invoked the "at your sole discretion" clause in the bonus T&Cs. So basically you can make up reasons after the event and that is exactly what you did.

I don't think you have behave at all fairly in this.

Hi - please keep me posted with any developments as I am happy to help in any way I can.

Hi Luke, and thank you. At this point the player needs to step up and provide the information required in order to proceed with this. If and when I receive that I'll be in contact ASAP.

I came across metro play by accident a few months back.. deposited about a hundred i think... games played fine, no lag.. i got up to £1000 and cashed out,,, money was back to my card within 4 days so i guess they must have processed it pretty quick..
They seem good imho.... cant comment on the other posts in this thread..

I'm still waiting on a cash back issue I highlighted earlier in this thread. The rep has been kind enough to contact me twice regarding this, and is looking into it again for me now. I'll post an update when I know more. In the mean time, I will stick to my guns in my earlier post here and only start playing at Metro Play regularly when this issue is resolved.

I was speaking to someone on the phone , who offered me a 1 time amazing bonus of a 150% up to £250, and she said it was exclusive

I then proceeded to tell her they had the same offer on the website, she had no idea of the bonus on the website

EXTREMELY SHOCKINGLY, she didn't even bother to tell me terms and conditions ( i asked her 3 x what the max amount i could accumulate on the bonus was, she had no idea, kept saying £250 bonus).

Extremely stupid marketing from metroplay,

If anything, i suggest you try out mr green, the reps are great and bonuses issues are promptly solved.

It also looks much nicer with the customized background for each slot.

Withdrawal limits on deposit bonuses is a big red flag IMO.

I will avoid this place at all costs....it is daylight robbery and a winning proposition for the house.

you know what this a case of?

Idiot casinos that dont properly consult regarding APing techniques, then they get hit BADLY, then they put restrictive requirements on bonuses, that would not have needed to be there if they had done their research!

If they had someone like Igor from BEtat working for them, i doubt they would have suffered as much losses.

Im pretty sure there Are Former APers out there who would consult in this matter

( or they could have restricted the bonuses to UK users till they figured out AP techniques, then gradually allowed other countries to be eligible)
