I have been gamstopped over the last few years but been using different betting accounts in different peoples names but still depositing with my bank is there a case for me to fight getting my money back as they shouldn’t be letting me deposit in the first place

As @slot_zombie said you won't have much luck with that. By using other people's accounts you have obviously been going to some effort to dodge the Gamstop restrictions and that will negate any Responsible Gaming claims you might try to make at the casinos involved.

Hmm okay I get what your trying to say but using my bank details on other peoples account surely should highlight they are clearly not doing there own security checks properly are they, gonna try my luck anyway as read a lot online and seeing solicators advertise that there can be a case made. Was just seeing if anyone else had any luck

Fair enough, as you see fit. Just letting you know that if you came to me with those circumstances I would tell you "fat chance" and advise that the casinos I deal with regarding complaints will almost certainly tell you the same.

Keep in mind that the advertising solicitors are trolling for your business, we have no such "incentive" since the PAB service is free and without strings attached. In other words they have an interest in telling you what you want to hear, whereas we have an interest in telling you like it is.

And that is player fraud - something we will shut down in a New York minute here.

Gamstop is a service to assist you to quit gambling - it is not set up to game the system - which obviously you are trying to do.

I will reserve my judgemental comments for later, but if you need help to quit - then by all means use

Your free to say what you like was just asking a query don’t throw accusations out not here to game no system a query that’s all 👍🏽

:D You started this by telling us that you had "been using different betting accounts in different peoples names". That is the very definition of "gaming the system", or one of them. Best not to be too precious about things when what you're basically saying is "I've been a cheat and a fraud, can I get a refund?"

- Max

don’t be so narrow minded could be someone has a problem with gambling and can’t stop that’s why they use different accounts, cheat and fraud is laughable 🤣 betting companies should do the proper security checks with payments that’s the case I’m trying to fight, was here for a query and got told I’m a cheat and a fraud…

Just out of curiosity, I checked your birthdate and you are relatively young. So yeah, I get it - you're at the age where most everyone owes you something, and it's other people's fault when you don't get your way. You have probably never had to take responsibility for your mistakes - and had a privileged upbringing where gaming the system is a pastime.

Sorry, your situation is going to fall on deaf ears here. You need to adhere to the advice previously given.

What do the people whose names you were using to set-up the accounts and play think about all this?
Are they happy to let you do it, or do they not know ? If they’ve let you do it they aren’t giving much support to someone who may have a problem.

Because it shows my age on internet doesn’t mean it’s true do you believe everything on internet gramps? You must have a sad life trying to talk down to someone over the internet. A question was asked want me describe how your life seems to me ?

This "gramps" really doesn't need to know someone's age when they're posting about being a fraud.

And it's pretty obvious to me that you believe the rules don't pertain to you - especially when you agreed to them.

OP - The bold part is the bottom line, accept it learn from it and move on.

In answer to your question - Most likely no!

I'm not a legal expert, but engaging in activities like using different names to bypass self-exclusion measures may potentially violate the terms and conditions of betting platforms. It's essential to consider the legal and ethical implications of such actions. But if you believe there's an issue, it might be advisable to consult with a legal professional to discuss your specific situation and explore possible courses of action. Keep in mind that each case is unique, and seeking professional advice can provide you with accurate information based on your circumstances.

Perhaps not...

It absolutely violates the terms and conditions, and is considered player fraud across the industry. They make it crystal clear never to use a payment method belonging to somebody else - even people who have made an innocent mistake (e.g. two friends playing from the same location) have learned the hard way.

I know the OP has already been banned, but worth reiterating... if you find yourself in this situation then there are two paths:
  1. you have a legitimate and serious gambling problem, in which case seek further help.
  2. you are trying to game the system, in which case you are likely participating in self-exclusion fraud and many sites will now confiscate your deposits and that'll be the end of it.
Payment details are often used as the "but..." in this scenario, however as discussed previously there are limitations to what can be checked - and fraudsters are clearly using this as their angle to try and present their fraud as an "honest mistake"...

Also, @allenmorales86 , why do your posts all read like ChatGPT? Are you a fan?
Just asking.
