Hi all,

I was able to play at a few of the main online casino's a couple of years ago via VPN. One in particular would pay me in btc (although it was not a bitcoin casino) but unfortunately they pulled the pin completely. I can still play via VPN at a few casino's but to be honest the game selection is crap.

I am going on holiday to a different country and online gambling is not outlawed there. Am I able to use my old casino accounts overseas?

Thanks

So Australian customers are banned no matter what country they are in? I know of Australian streamers that moved to New Zealand to play the slots online. I don't see the difference.

I wouldn't tell them that I'm going on holiday. I'd simply ask about their VPN policy. These casinos block players based on IP locations, not their nationality or address. In 99% of cases, you'll get an answer: we're VPN-friendly. Internally, they usually have lists like:

- Austria: Yes
- Australia: VPN
- Belgium: VPN
- etc.

If VPN usage is allowed, simply switch to a location for better game selections, eg Ireland, Finland, Norway, or Denmark. These countries have many game providers available. You can also try Japan, as it's closer to your location (that's if you can't find anything you like using the NZ location via VPN). Alternatively, you can ask your casino's chat to suggest an optimal VPN location to play from.

To be safe, check their terms to ensure you never connect to their restricted countries.

You wanna be careful using VPNs..... Let's starts again. Ideally you want to be careful using any online casino's but especially one's that actively accept Australian deposits while also saying Australia not supported. God forbid you have 'one of them days', attempt a sizeable withdrawal only for them to pull the 'void' customer excuse.

Hopefully any business you've established a long term history with would be above such a tactic but you just never know. Use of VPN is another easy out for those that way inclined.

Those that lay in the grey area would be sucking up a huge percentage of Aussie online players at the moment. Think crypto based and little/limited/none KYC requirements.

The difference is: In Australia you are governed by the Australian Government, in New Zealand you are not.
New Zealand's government haven't completely banned online gambling... yet.
