ONLINE CASINO GROUP SUBJECT OF U.S. GAMBLING INVESTIGATION?

Gambling 911.com reports that online casino group, Golden Casino, is the subject of an online gambling investigation by U.S. Attorney’s Offices out of Maryland and New York as well as Louisiana State Law enforcement and U.S. Customs.

Reportedly contravention of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 forms the basis of the investigation. The investigation’s task force is said to have approached U.S. Customers of the Golden Casino as well as small banks who were approached to process online gambling transactions. New customer jurisdictional issues are also said to form part of the investigation. It is not clear what U.S. Customs role is in the investigation.

“Developments are likely soon in this ongoing investigation”, said sources close to Gambling 911.
