BRAINSTORMING AT EiG (Update)
11 September 2009
Organisers Clarion Gaming announce series of
open sessions
Next week's European iGaming Congress in Copenhagen is
likely to be a busy but interesting week, and organisers
Clarion Gaming have added to the action by announcing a
series of brainstorming sessions on hot markets and key
areas of industry development during the conference,
which takes place 15-17th September.
The sessions
will be free to attend for all delegates – both expo
hall only and full conference – and will follow a
relaxed Q and A format, moderated by Clarion Gaming’s
Head of Conferences, Mark Walker. All discussions will
be conducted under Chatham House rules to encourage
honest and open dialogue amongst industry decision
makers.
Each of the meetings will last for 45
minutes and involve all aspects of the industry
including operators, legal counsels, suppliers and
consultants. To further encourage as much forthright
dialogue as possible, the media will be asked to respect
the privacy of these meetings.
Walker commented
this week on the addition: EiG hosts the biggest
gathering of online gaming decision makers of the entire
year. Over 25 CEOs are speaking and over 130 attended
EiG in 2008 which we are on track to better this year.
There is no better time to engage with the industry,
find out their biggest causes for concern or optimism,
and work out how Clarion Gaming can help facilitate
answers to their needs.
It is also a fantastic
chance outside of more formal presentations to really
drill down into issues, give and receive a lot of fluid,
honest feedback, and meet with peers who share the same
interests in these topic areas.
Clarion Gaming
will write up and share only with participants the
conclusions (with no specifics attributed to individual
contributions as per Chatham House rules).
The
full meeting schedule is:
Tuesday 15th
10.00-10.45 – Bingo 10.45-11.30 – Casino
11.30-12.15 – Sports betting
Wednesday 16th
11.30-12.15 – Asia 12.15-13.00 – LatAm 13.00-14.00
– USA and other global strategic developments
A
brainstorm on Poker will be incorporated throughout the
World Poker Congress on Thursday 17th September. WPC is
free to attend for all EiG full conference passes.
