iPOKER JOINS THE MILLIONAIRE TOURNAMENT SECTOR

Monthly Million will compete with rival Party Poker
 

iPoker, the online poker network for Playtech-powered gambling websites has announced a $1 million guaranteed prize pool tournament branded Monthly Million, which will start September 13th. Direct buy-ins of $535 are offered, along with satellite qualifiers around $1.10 for players on participating iPoker skins.

Featuring 30-minute blind levels, Monthly Million players will start with a chip stack of 10 000. The addition of iPoker to the million dollar tourney stakes is notable because the non-US facing network has some 5 400 real money players per 7 day average (PokerScout.com stats).

iPoker's new initiative will be watched closely by Party Poker, which has a similarly branded offer with a more expensive buy-in of $640.
