50 arrests as police swoop
Utah's strong stand against gambling came to the fore
over the weekend with reports from the Salt Lake Tribune
that police had arrested 50 employees and gamblers in a
swoop on an Internet cafe.
The police raid on
Sunday at a Murray Internet cafe followed a months-long
gambling investigation, a spokesman revealed.
Customers were playing various slots, Keno and poker at
the Fortune Cyber Café, near 625 W. 5300 South, Murray
police Det. Kenny Bass said.
