DRAMA AT SMARTLIVE

Newly launched Smartlive casino waves
farewell to md and axes affiliates
Last week's rumours of trouble at Smart Live Casino, and
subsequent reports that the operation had started to axe
affiliates, were enhanced this week by reports that
London-based managing director Arthur Baker had abruptly
resigned after some friction with the owners.
The
communication with affiliates attributed the shutdown to
"ongoing technical issues and integration with Income
Access which we are unable to resolve fully.
"We
have been constrained up until now with managing this on
a manual basis but it is not going to be possible to
continue in this way if we want to offer the best
service possible. Therefore with regret all affiliate
accounts will be closed and no new affiliates will be
accepted to the program." Affiliates were assured that
all accounts would be paid up.
InfoPowa attempts
to contact the operation's management were ignored
despite several attempts. The industry publication EGR
had more success, managing to elicit a statement -
presumably from the owner - which thanked the departing
md for his efforts and wished him well for the future.
The statement also hinted that the affiliate program
would be relaunched later this year.
Smart Live
is a live gaming casino operated by Smart Live
Corporation of Malta and London. It uses a mix of
proprietary and Net Entertainment software.
