Online poker site launches Mac-compatible
software version
The Cereus Network's UltimateBet.com online poker
website has responded to demand from Mac-users by
launching a full-on Mac-compatible version of its
software.
"Our company strives to make our poker
room accessible to as many people as possible and we
recognize that Apple computers have a growing market
share in the personal computing industry," explained
Paul Legget, CEO of Cereus parent company Tokwiro
Enterprises.
"In response to this trend we have
developed an all-new downloadable poker application
specifically for the Mac operating system."
The
new software allows Mac poker players to take part in
full-ring games, satellites, single-table tournaments,
multi-table tournaments and blackjack, said Leggett.
UltimateBet has additionally rolled out its new
instant-play, no-download browser-based software, which
gives both Mac and PC users the capability to join the
poker action.
Mac-compatible software has become
a common feature on the major poker sites over recent
years, with most of the big names now offering this
facility.
