Curacao licensed online gambling group engaged Mobiclear to fight fraud

Alea Network NV, an online gambling websites operator licensed in the Netherlands Antilles, has engaged the services of Phillipines-based Mobiclear Inc to fight fraud using its patent-pending personal identity verification product.

Founded in 2005 by a group of international entrepreneurs with backgrounds in banking, gaming and software, Alea operates a full service gaming portfolio, including poker, casino games, a betting exchange and various computer skill games using proprietary gambling software on sites including metropolitanpoker.com, privatepoker.com, sk-poker.com, four-kingspoker.com, and zeropoker.com.

"We have become more concerned regarding the safety of personal information on site accounts and preventing credit card fraud and money laundering, as well as the need to prevent people from gaming in jurisdictions where it is not allowed," said Anders Andersson, Alea president. "We needed a real-time ID verification system and the mobiclear system allows us to be assured that we are accepting transactions only from legitimate account holders."

"This transaction shows that mobiclear can ensure that both the customers and the client are protected and that fraud can be stopped in the multi-billion dollar gaming industry," said Stephen P. Cutler, mobiclear CEO. "We are delighted to assist Alea and are confident that this is the first of many announcements of new contracts for mobiclear."
