WIZARD GAMING LAUNCHES FIRST LICENSEE
19 September 2008
Gold Rock Casino is not for Americans, though
The Isle of Man based gambling software provider Wizard
Gaming has been engaged in developmental activities for
the past two years (see previous InfoPowa report) and
this week launched its first licensee - Gold Rock
Casino.com. Unfortunately for US gamblers, this
operation is staying out of that market.
Wizard claims to have used a large development budget on
a range of 21 new downloadable video slots like Divin'
for Pearls and Cashasaurus which will be welcomed as
something fresh on the market by many online gamblers
and can be previewed on the Wizard Gaming.com website.
The company is focusing on slots initially, but plans to
launch progressive slots and a wider range of casino
games later this year, with operators licensed in
Curacao, Netherlands Antilles..
The Wizard RNG is certified by iTech Labs, and a Wizard
spokesman says that the owners of the company have all
been involved in the i-gaming industry for many years,
although they are not specifically identified.
Gold Rock Casino.com is the company's first licensee and
seems to be associated with Gambling Magazine judging by
website appearances. The casino does not accept US
gamblers and comes in English, German and Swedish
language versions, with all the usual player facilities
such as toll-free Support, loyalty program and a
matchplay signup maxed at $300. The site is operated by
Everyhour Services Limited out of Cyprus.
