BJL to craft new television advertising campaign
The Manchester-based independent adrvertising agency BJL
is to create a TV based advertising campaign for William
Hill plc, a month after being named as a roster agency
for the client.
It is understood that BJL won the project following a
three way pitch, the first assignment since the agency
was placed on William Hill's above-the-line roster.
BJL employs over 75 dedicated staff and recently added
digital and PR divisions to its strategic offering. The
agency is in a growth phase, and recently took on new
clients including Kepak Convenience Foods, Regus, Bauer
Radio Group, Lambrini, Morphy Richards and Typhoo to its
books.
At the end of last (August) month the agency recruited
one of the UK’s top creative teams with the appointment
of the multi award-winning duo, Pete Bastiman and Tom
Richards from TBWA - Manchester, where they were
creative partners for copy and art respectively. The two
have extensive experience working with major accounts
such as British Midland, Cussons, Kelloggs, Sony
PlayStation, Tennents and Nissan.
The agency has confirmed the story but was unable to
comment on any other details pending an official
statement by the online and land betting group.
