Supercharged poker now six times faster, claims management

Players using the SkyPoker.com platform should see a dramatic improvement in speed, according to company spokesmen this week - the firm has refreshed and perked up the website and software, and claims the operation is six times faster.

"Responding to customer demand, skypoker.com now runs six times faster than the previous version with cards being dealt more quickly to the new look tables," a company spokesperson said this week. "Other improvements include a new slider bar, a new chat box filter that displays both hand summaries and player chat, a new scrollable player notes section that allows more room to make notes on opposition players and an updated action plinth that shows an opponent’s last move and chip stack at all times."

To celebrate the upgrade, the website is offering special promos and freerolls this week.

Sky Poker is the first multiplatform poker room that can be played or viewed both online and through Sky’s television set top box. In the UK, it is the only dedicated poker television channel broadcasting 24 hours a day and showcases live coverage of online tournaments. Studio presenters are regularly joined by a roster of guests including poker pros, analysts and celebrities.
