SEK 8.4 net profit recover from last year's horrendous SEK11.3 million loss is impressive


The online poker company formerly known as 24hPoker, Entraction Holding AB in Sweden and Malta has posted a commendable net profit of SEK 8.4 million - all the more remarkable when compared to last year's SEK 11.3 million loss.

Net revenues of SEK 77.6 million were achieved, 48.4 percent up on the same period in 2007, with casino revenues growing at SEK 14.6 million and poker revenues reaching SEK 51.9 million.

Entraction Holding AB, through its subsidiaries, develops software systems for online gaming in Sweden, and offers software systems for poker, sports betting, and casino.

The company also operates a poker network on Malta, and provides a range of peripheral services, such as Web site design, gaming licenses, operation, payment systems, promotional tools, and end-user support; and tools that work together with its software for poker, betting, and casino, as well as online gaming software from other providers.

Operationally, Entraction holds, through Casablanca Gaming Group AB, online gaming sites, including 24hPoker.com, Martinspoker.com, Staffpoker.com, Danepoker.com, and Norpoker.com. The company was founded in 2000 as 24hBET AB and changed its name to 24hPoker AB in 2005. It further changed its name to Entraction Holding AB in 2007. Company headquarters are in Solna, Sweden.
