56 people interviewed by Italian Financial Guard
police

Italian financial police have been active in busting an
illegal and unlicensed online betting ring that
stretched over 20 centres.
The names of 56 people were taken by Taranto Financial
Guard officers following the investigation on
allegations of unauthorised online betting.
An AGI report said that police uncovered a complex
system which managed to evade the AAMS authorisations
system in place for gambling, and have identified 20
illegal centres. During the operation a sizeable amount
of hardware was seized.
Those under investigation are the as yet unnamed owners
and clients of the locations where the bets were placed.
