New software platform for growing Norwegian online poker operation


Poker-mad online players at the fast-growing Norwegian online poker site Berserk Poker.com will have a significantly bigger and more international field to play following an agreement to join the Microgaming Poker Network this week.

The agreement gives Berserkers access to over 40 other quality poker rooms on the network and thousands of globally distributed other players.

The managing director of Berserk Poker, Stein Hansen says: "As poker continues to grow in popularity throughout Norway, we feel the time is right to make the move to the next level. By moving to the Microgaming Poker Network, we believe we can do this; since it not only provides our players with the best gaming experience in the industry, but offers us, as an operator, access to a wealth of experience and support. Our aim is to quickly become the major player in the Nordic region and we feel that this announcement will take us ten steps closer to that goal.”

Roger Raatgever, CEO Microgaming welcomed the new member and said that his company's ability to provide multi-language capabilities would play a role in helping Berserk Poker management to achieve its goals in Norway and across the Nordic region.
