MICROGAMING'S INAUGURAL ONLINE GRAND SLAM OF SLOTS FINAL BEGINS

Million dollar bonanza awaits the victor 
 

Online gambling software provider Microgaming has revealed that the much anticipated grand finale of the Grand Slam of Slots online tournament begins today (Thursday) and in nine days will deliver a single victorious player. On 2nd November, that player will be a million dollars richer.

Microgaming made history earlier this year, when the Mega Moolah Progessive Jackpot powered by Microgaming created the largest ever online slot millionaire with a record win of Euro 6.37 million, paid in a single payout. Company spokesmen say it is set to make history again with the Grand Slam of Slots online tournament and a prizepool of Euro 1.3 million, with Euro 1 million going to the winner and Euro 50 000 to second place. The remaining 480 players will pocket between Euro 100 and Euro 25 000.

Mike Hebden of Microgaming said: “We are delighted to be the power behind the biggest ever online slot tournament in history which will create the first online tournament slot millionaire.”

The Grand Slam of Slots is played on the popular Lara Croft Tomb Raider game. Players will get 9 000 starting credits and one hour in which to accrue the most winnings, with unlimited re-buys allowed at Euro 20 each.
