NEW LOTTERY TV COVERAGE FOR UK VIEWERS

Camelot, ITV and Endemol combine

 

In the UK, ITV Local and Camelot have joined forces to bring the public the latest lottery news and films of lottery-funded projects in each UK region, with content produced by Endemol UK subsidiary Initial on behalf of Camelot.

Users of the new online channel can access films on how some of the 300 000-plus National Lottery grants awarded to date have benefited communities across the UK, as well as catching up on the latest draw results.

And in Russia, RIA Novosti news agency has reported the launch of the country's first federal lottery. Revenue projections predict that the venture will generate Roubles 30 billion or $1.1 billion over the next five years, which will be used to fund the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.
