Bingo players can help raise funds for Breast Cancer Care in October

Kudos to UK gambling group William Hill plc, which has partnered with the charity Breast Cancer Care to raise funds through bingo operations this (October) month, which marks Breast Cancer Awareness.

The company will launch special Pink Ribbon Games on their online bingo site this to raise funds for the charity. Ten percent from every special Pink Ribbon Bingo ticket will be donated to the charity, as well as GBP10 for every new player who registers between 1st October to end of December with the promo code ‘care’ and plays GBP20 within 4 weeks of registration.

The money raised will fund support and information for those unfortunate enough to be affected by the disease - it is estimated that some 3 000 women will be diagnosed with it during October.

Sarah Hill, Head of Corporate Fundraising at Breast Cancer Care, said: “It is fantastic to have William Hill on board for what I believe will be an extremely successful partnership. Breast Cancer Care works very hard to make a meaningful difference to the lives of people affected by breast cancer.

There are many people who are struggling to come to terms with their diagnosis on their own at this very minute and that is unacceptable. That’s why we are so grateful for the support from William Hill. The crucial funds raised will help us to reach more people and to offer them the care and support they need, whenever they need it.”
