Brightcove inspanned to ensure delivery

 

Europe’s dedicated gaming TV network, The Poker Channel, has announced the relaunch of Poker Channel Europe.com in partnership with the online video platform Brightcove. The partnership will facilitate the delivery of free advertising-supported video content on the game.

Brightcove's online video platform is key to the programming online video content, the creation of Flash-based video players and the delivery of relevant and engaging online video advertising to viewers, says a company statement.

Poker Channel Europe.com will stream short and long-form video clips, featuring major tournament coverage, news, player interviews, ‘how to play’ tips, and exclusive promotions from participating online poker sites. The channel will offer videos and articles from tournaments such as The World Series of Poker, alongside educational videos, strategy articles, and interviews with stars names such as Daniel Negreanu, Doyle Brunson and Chris Ferguson.

Future plans for the site include offering content in local languages, extending tournament coverage and poker promotions to local audiences.

Commercial director Chris White says: "The Poker Channel has expanded at break-neck speed in the last 2 years, and is now available 24/7 to over 15 million cable and satellite TV viewers in 16 European countries."
