BIG BUCKS BUY-IN
17 October 2008
NBC's "Poker After Dark" cash game is not for
sissies
The current weekly edition of NBC's late night poker
thriller series "Poker After Dark" is being changed to a
cash-game format that seperates the men from the boys
with a $100 000 buy-in big enough to make the toes curl
for the $200/400 NLHE epic.
The composition of the six player table is a
star-studded marquee of note: Gabe Kaplan, Eli Elezra,
Patrik Antonius, Howard Lederer, Doyle Brunson and Texas
businessman and amateur player Dee Tiller.
NBC scheduling has the five week-night episodes airing
late Monday through Friday at 2:05 am ET/PT, with
special Saturday-night episode screening immediately
after the "Saturday Night Live" program at 1:00 am early
Sunday morning.
