VUETEC EXECS BEHIND NEW ONLINE CASINO PROVIDER
10 October 2008
Visionary iGaming has live betting in mind
Former VueTec CEO Martin Reiner, together with former
colleagues Ryan St. James and Janice Alder, have formed
a company called Visionary iGaming to compete in the
live-gaming-over-the-Internet sector. Dublin-based
VueTec is unlikely to be pleased at the direct
competition - St. James was its head of business
development and Alder was VP of online casino
operations.
Reiner, an MIT graduate and former banking/exchange
executive left his position with VueTec Ltd. after three
years as CEO at the end of 2007 to form a company
focused solely on providing high quality live online
casino solutions. He claims to have turned a struggling
VueTec around whilst in charge, revitalising both the
management team and capital structure of the company and
placing the focus on customer service and product
quality.
New games like Blackjack Early Payout were introduced
and clients signed up as the company expanded until
Reiner encountered what he describes as "substantial
philosophical differences about the future direction of
the company" with the board of directors, leading to his
resignation.
"Visionary iGaming will provide version 2.0 of live
online casino solutions to operators and regional
entrepreneurs alike using the latest web technologies",
says Reiner. "ViG is positioned to give the market what
it is demanding – an interactive, entertaining, and real
online gaming experience. This, combined with a powerful
back office including innovative franchise management
tools, and multi currency payment solutions will allow
players all over the world to have the closest
experience possible to being in a real casino short of
going to Vegas or Macau.”
Reiner says that ViG will focus on three primary
distribution channels: Regional operators looking to
open their own Live Gaming Franchises that will offer
live casino games to their brick and mortar clientele
using ViG’s 'Live Casino in a Box' solution; existing
iGaming operators wishing to offer live games to their
current players via direct integration of ViG’s Game
Feed and new licensees that seek a turnkey live online
casino solution including payment processing and full
back office capabilities.
