Gearing up to enter the fiercely competitive online
poker software market this week is a newcomer from
Silverdale, Washington state titled Castle Technologies
(Pink Sheets:CSTL) which boasts an innovative software
package which it intends to licence internationally.
The penny-stock company (present share price 15 cents;
52 week range 10 cents to 60 cents) has just finalised
the design phase of its new gaming software and is
preparing to enter the multi-player online poker market,
which it claims is growing "at a phenomenal rate" with
more than 200 online poker Web sites in operation, and
over 370 500 punters playing for real money every day.
A company spokesman said that Castle Technologies'
patent-pending software is distinct in its ability to
provide progressive jackpots within the game itself,
creating the same excitement experienced in actual
casinos and poker tournaments. The plan is to license
its software to offshore corporations, primarily in
Europe, Asia and South America, which have the legal
means to conduct online gambling activities and provide
licensing, software maintenance, marketing assistance
and customer service to support its customer base.
"What makes this software so unique is the progressive
payouts on played poker hands. That's never been done
before in any online gaming software and I expect gamers
will be pleasantly surprised by this new feature," says
David Comeau, President and CEO of Castle Technologies,
Inc.
Comeau says the new software will provide all of the
features normally associated with online gaming such as
player account maintenance, chat capability and
state-of-the-art graphics, and more features than
traditional online casinos, including easy-to-navigate
Web pages, the latest in Web animation and
straightforward betting actions with the ability to play
multiple games at the same time.
Originally called ImagiTrend, Inc., the company changed
its name to Castle Technologies, Inc. in April this
year. At the time company officials said that the name
and symbol change were made to better reflect the recent
acquisition of Castle Technologies, Inc., a company that
was specialising in providing innovative solutions to
the growing international online gaming industry.
