Probability Games appointment to strengthen
management team
Probability plc, the AIM quoted mobile phone gambling
specialist, has appointed Glenn Elliott as Chief
Operating Officer with immediate effect, strengthening
the management team at a time when the company has been
experiencing strong growth in its mobile casino and
bingo operations, a company spokesman revealed this
week.
Elliott was chosen for his in-depth knowledge of the
mobile, marketing and new media industries, and his
proven track record of delivering bottom-line growth in
complex commercial environments.
The new COO has held a number of key positions within
the mobile and new media industries. Before joining
Probability, he was a founding member and UK Manager for
over two years at Arena Mobile, working with major
international mobile operators, providing portals for
large corporate clients and undertaking the launch of
mobile applications and web front-end hosting projects.
Prior to this he held various key positions within
mobile operator Orange including Product Manager, where
he launched news and information services and then as
Third Party Services Account Manager, where he
introduced a new commercial model and
achieved a ten-fold growth in client base revenue within
two years.
Probability CEO Charles Cohen said: "Glenn will be a
huge asset to the team; his expertise in the industry is
invaluable, as are his extensive contacts and his deep
understanding of the mobile consumer. We now have a team
of highly knowledgeable individuals at the forefront of
our industry, which we aim to utilise fully in
delivering our planned strategies for profitable growth
and sector leadership."
