NEW CASABLANCA ONLINE POKER GROUP TO WORK FROM MALTA
12 October 2007
Martinspoker merge completed
The merger between online poker firms 24hPoker.com and
Martinspoker.com reported in InfoPowa bulletins several
weeks back has been confirmed, with the combined
companies now falling under the new Casablanca Gaming
Group operating out of Malta.
Peter Anstrom, CEO of 24hPoker which has recently
announced staff cuts, said that going forward Casablanca
will operate his company's online poker site "...more
efficiently than we could do ourselves, enabling us to
focus on our supplier operations." Claus Nielson of
Martinspoker will be the CEO of Casablanca Gaming.
Casablanca Gaming Group AB is the name of the newly
formed company of 24hPoker AB and Martinspoker.
Martinspoker is operated under 24hPay Ltd., Malta. They
provide different gaming services in cooperation with
software providers.
As majority shareholder of this joint venture, 24hPoker
Holding will continue to design proprietary software
systems for online gaming operations but in a larger
capacity. In addition the Swedish firm will continue
selling and developing online gaming platforms for
operators that would like to conduct gaming operations
under their own brand. 24hPoker is headquartered in
Solna, Sweden with operations carried out through
subsidiaries 24hPoker AB and B2B Poker AB.
Casablanca Gaming Group will be operating the brands
24hPoker, Martinspoker, Staffpoker and Danepoker as
reported earlier in InfoPowa; these sites are some of
the most popular Scandinavian gaming sites, the company
boasts. Adding more brands is the grand design of
Casablanca Gaming Group for the future. The customer
database among other properties of 24hPoker will be
transferred to Casablanca Gaming Group’s Maltese
subsidiary.
