SHOCK ONLINE POKER DEVELOPMENT AT INTERWETTEN
20 November 2009
Online poker website accuses network provider
of weak quality
Online players at the Interwetten poker website were
astonished at a statement from the company this week
which appeared to accuse its host Ongame network as
delivering a sub-standard product.
In the
statement, Interwetten advises players that it is
discontinuing its online poker offering effective
November 17th and until further notice.
The
company blames its poker software provider for the
decision, saying it is due to "....our poker provider’s
failure to meet the high quality standards of
Interwetten with their product.”
Ongame, which is
a subsidiary of the giant European online betting group
Bwin, has yet to respond to the Interwetten accusation.
All players with credited accounts will be refunded,
Interwetten emphasised.
